𝐘/𝐧'𝐬𝐩𝗼𝐯 It was finally the Halloween party and instead of getting ready at home, I was at Kat's place, currently helping her post for a certain site...yeah.
I've been doing it for about two weeks now, getting the good angles for Kat and also helping with the nerdy computer stuff so her IP couldn't be tracked or anything else.
As compensation Kat splits her money with me or adds whatever I want onto her wishlist, telling the old dudes she's buying gifts for friends.
I honestly didn't mind doing this for free, especially since I was saving Kat from people finding out about this, but she insisted.
"This is perfect, thank you" The girl hugged me "Anything for you Kitty" I joked while hugging back.
"Anyways imma get ready for the party" "Yeah I should too," Kat said, the two of us grabbing our costumes, mine more revealing than Kat's was.
As we got ready, still talking and such I need help zipping the back of my costume.
"I got you," Kat said as I moved my curls out of the way so they wouldn't catch in the zipper.
"So have you talked to Maddy?" Kat asked the only one who I told about the whole Maddy visiting me at night thing.
"Yeah we're okay again," I say, knowing we were in an okay place, a kind of place where we can act as if nothing had ever happened, a place I found to be more common for us than anything.
"Hm okay, if you say so" Kat hummed once done zipping me up.
"What? I'm just saying" Once seeing Kat shrug her shoulders I knew she was already aware of my frustrations, but I decided to leave it at that, instead checking myself out in the mirror. Hair and fit check

Yeah, I was those little alien guys from Toy Story, just a very different version.
After getting ready some of the football team was here early with the drinks and such, the guys were all too eager to help move the furniture around so nothing got messed up, most of them making it too obvious that they were trying to impress us.
But after they were don't with that, taking glances at me that were anything but discreet, people started walking in, and the party started.
Once it was packed enough I made myself a drink, going a bit heavy on the alcohol, trying to also forget the events of yesterday.
Yesterday I was confronted by Nate, the man forcing me to lie to the police for him and Maddy because if I didn't he was going to snitch on Fez and Ash.
I was so upset, so much so that I had cussed at him a bit, but that didn't change the fact that I complied, only for my brothers and not for Nate.
And I won't repeat any of the other words he spoke but they seemed to sting, so I had to ease the pain in some kind of way.
