Once I got home from school I told Fez what had happened at school, all of us currently talking while at the gas station.

"So he threatened you and then got scared?" Fez asked as I nodded "fucking pussy as dude" Ash shook his head "Yeah that nigga needs to learn how to interrogate people better" I replied, ignoring Ash who was playing with my braids, the kid having moments where he needed some kind of touch, which I didn't mind.

"Yeah that's pretty lame of him" Faye added, all of us just laughing the whole time.

Also, Maddy had been texting me, mostly just telling me about how she went bowling with everyone and such, saying how she wished I was there, and honestly I wished I was there too.

But after a bit I went into the freezer with Ash, seeing Lexi and Fez talking, the little couple seeming so cute in my eyes.

But what caught my attention was Cale Jacobs walking in Ash and I was barely able to hear what was going on, but what made both Ash and I turn the safety off of our guns was when we saw a gun outline in the man's jacket.

After the long pause though, we saw the man place down the money for his things before leaving, Ash and I walking out for a moment before putting the gun's up.

"H-hey Y/n" "Hey Lexi" I smiled, giving the girl a small hug before she left.

After that, we all went home for the night.

"*sigh* I don't know if I can stay with Y/n" Maddy spoke to Jules as they sat on top of a roof.

"What? I thought you guys were in love" "I am, but I'm scared I'll mess things up between us" Maddy said, the thought always in the back of her mind whenever she was with the girl.

Maddy was scared that she'd just suddenly ruin the good thing that she had going on, thinking that after everything between her and Nate, Maddy thought that she was too damaged to be able to love Y/n correctly.

"You won't mess anything up, but if you just leave Y/n then that's how you mess things up, just talk to her," Jules said, her words processing in Maddy's mind, the girl truly wanting to do right by Y/n.

"You're honestly amazing for this" "Glad I can help" Jules laughed, the two talking for a bit longer before agreeing to leave the roof and going home for the night.
