𝐘/𝐧'𝐬𝐩𝗼𝐯 Today was Maddy's birthday and I was getting ready for that, my music blasting and such.
For her birthday we were going to have a sleepover at Cassie and Lexi's place, the party exclusive to our friend group.
And as I danced around my room, haven already gotten out of the shower dressed and my makeup is done, I had gotten some texts from Maddy asking if I was on my way yet, my girlfriend being pretty impatient.

"Aw look at you all dressed up for your girl" Ash grinned, making me roll my eyes.
"Shut up, but anyways y'all like my outfit?" I asked, also trying to distract myself from what Faye told me, apparently saying how Cluster was trying to set up Fez and Ash.
Of course, I was going to tell them, but all of that wasn't happening for another two weeks and I'd need a day where we're not doing anything to tell the two, knowing it'd be a long day of talking and planning out what to do.
"Yeah you look good" Fez nodded "Oh my gosh you're sooo pretty, your girlfriend is gonna go crazy," Faye said, the girl slowly growing on me honestly.
"Thank you, but anyways I should hurry up and go before Maddy sends a search party for me," I say, telling everyone bye before heading out.
The Howard home wasn't that far from my home, and once I made it there I looked at myself one last time before grabbing my bag plus Maddy's gifts.
"Hey y'all" I announced, walking into the home to be greeted with hugs and such.
"Damn that's a lot of gifts," Kat said with a look of surprise "Finally you're here Gorgeous," Maddy said, pushing everyone out of the way and hugging me.
"Hey Beautiful" I hugged back or tried to, having to hug with one hand.
"Is all of that for me?" Maddy questioned "Yeah, I hope it's not too much," I say, for some reason feeling a bit nervous.
"Gorgeous this is amazing, thank you," Maddy said before kissing me, Suze grabbed the gift bags from me as I kissed Maddy.
"Now come on we're about to do cake," Maddy said, pulling me into the dining room, and making me sit down before sitting on my lap, which I didn't mind as I had my arms around her waist.
Eventually, we started singing Happy Birthday to Maddy as Cassie walked out with the cake that had a picture of Maddy standing in front of the car, Maddy had a bright smile as the song ended, blowing out the candles before kissing my lips.
This moment right now was like something out of a dream, my crush since 8th grade was now my girlfriend, and is the best relationship I'd ever been in. But there was something pestering my mind, and it wasn't Maddy, but actually Cassie.
Honestly, I don't know what made me think this but I'm pretty sure something was up with Cassie and the way she acted was pretty weird, but weird enough, I had an even crazier guess.
But I decided to keep quiet, even as we sat on the stairs and took pictures before finally cutting the cake and eating, Suze allowed everyone to drink alcohol if they wanted only under the guides that we wouldn't tell.
I decided to drink a Sprite, mostly cause I wanted to, but that didn't stop me from smoking a blunt.
As I ate cake and walked around the house, I eventually found Lexi sitting alone.
"There you are, almost thought you ran off," I say, sitting down next to Lexi.
"Oh I didn't think anyone noticed," Lexi said, looking down at her cake.
"Trust me, Lexi, it's very obvious when you're not around, plus who would I be if I didn't know where my best friend was?" I asked, seeing the girl smile.
"I'm your best friend?" "Yeah of course you are" I smiled, the two of us about to continue our conversation till BB said Maddy was going to open presents.
"Oh open mine last," I say, moving the bags out of the way, ignoring Nate's presence, very much aware of the invite.
"Aw Nate this is great" Maddy smiled, holding up a dainty little necklace before hugging the boy, jealousy rising in me as I saw Nate flash me a grin.
"Of course Maddy, here let me help you put it on" Nate said, about to turn Maddy around when I had interjected.
"Oh don't put that on yet," I say "Why?" "You'll see," I say, watching Maddy open the other gifts before finally making it to mine.
Maddy's reactions were all I needed, a smile was the thing I was hoping to see.
And finally, she made it to the chains, Maddy's face showing true surprise as she saw them (they're like the thick chains that rest on your collarbone).
"Are these matching chains?" She questioned "Yep, and those are real diamonds" I smiled, only saying that for Nate to hear before I grabbed Maddy's chain, placing it on her before she helped me get my chain on, the girl kissing my lips while hugging me.
"This is amazing, I'm so lucky to have you" "It's nothing, and before we go to bed you can read the card," I say, my girlfriend, nodding at my words.
"Hey uh I'm gonna head out, Happy birthday Maddy" Nate said as I side-eyed him, Maddy inviting him to stay as I just kept on glaring at him.
But what stopped my glare was Cassie walking down in a pink swimsuit, going out to the hot tub.
"That was certainly a choice" Kat stated, Nate's face showing something that made me think there was something truly going on between him and Cassie, but for Maddy's sake I wouldn't be the one telling her, especially cause I didn't want her burning down the house.
For a bit we all relaxed, ignoring Cassie and her drunken state, but after a bit I had finally gotten up and went into the kitchen to grab a water bottle for Cassie, trying to at least get her slightly sober before she hurts herself.
"Hey, Cassie you should sit down and drink some water" I offered.
"Why should I? It's not like it'll fix anything" "Come on Cassie" I said, stepping closer, about to help get her untangled from the balloons, but Cassie had given me a weak shove.
"Get off, I'm not taking advice from the dealer's little sister" Cassie rolled her eyes, making me a bit upset before I decided to leave, Maddy pulled me to the bathroom because we were gonna chill in the hot tub, and with the way this night has started, and a knowing feeling in my gut, I knew we needed at least a few moments of calm before something happened.
