New School- Dustin Long

The next morning, Asha had far more motivation to get to school. Putting aside the fact that she'd have to be working with Dustin all through English at least she had Ella who insisted that she sit with her and some of her other friends she had throughout the grade. Ella was one of those people who was friends with everyone. I mean it was understandable she was pretty, kind, smart, fun and had a good sense of humour. What was there not to like?
That also meant she was quite popular through the grade.

Asha cruised through her morning routine. Doing her makeup which consisted of lipgloss, concealer, mascara and eyeliner. She did her hair, leaving it out and letting her blonde waves sit just above her waist. She then put on an outfit, a cream colour low waisted skirt and a long sleeve red shirt showing just a small part of her stomach. Ash paired her outfit with some gold jewellery and put on a pair of black platform converses.
Once she was ready she went downstairs to eat breakfast with her mum. "Morning baby" her mum said kissing her daughter on the forehead.
Asha said good morning and started making breakie which was an ice coffee and some yoghurt and fruit.

Aunt Kathy eventually arrived and Asha was off to her second day of high-school.
As she got in the car she dabbed Shuji up and said hi to both her cousin and Maya who seemed deep in conversation. They then went to pick up Sam, y'know the usual morning pickup routine and then went to school.
Ella was waiting by the car park, they had both made a deal that if one came earlier they would wait at the car park for each other.
With a joyful smile Asha said bye to her Auntie, cousin and friends and skipped towards her brunette friend and threw her arms around her.
It almost felt like they had been best friends forever. They just understood each other like no one else did and clicked immediately, they were practically the same person but in different font.
"Hey bitch"
"Sup hoe"
They both laughed linking arms and marching into school together. They received many looks, from boys and jealous girls. Asha and Ella were the new power duo and the whole grade knew it and it had only been one day.
Before the bell rang they decided it best to have a toilet break since Ella needed to go anyways.
When they got to the girls bathrooms Anna was standing outside the door so the girls smiled and said hi.
"You guys can't go in there" Anna said quickly just as Ella and Ash were about to go in.
They looked at her confused, "um why?"
"Maya is uh...um"
"Y'know what? It doesn't matter I'll just go during class" Ella shrugged sending a mischievous smirk towards Asha who knew if they went in math they would just end up wagging the rest of class.
"See you around An" Ella smiled and Anna seemed shocked that she used a nickname but also flattered as Ella was extremely popular.
"By An, hey I'm spending the afternoon with El so can you tell Aunt Kath not to worry" Asha informed her cousin.
"Uh yeah I will let her know" Anna told her and the girls waved goodbye and head to class just as the bell rang.

"Fuck I hate math, when are you gonna ask to piss?" Ash whispered as the teacher wrote some irrelevant numbers on the board. Honestly what is the point of half the stuff we learn in math?
"Chill Ash, I'll ask soon" Ella then rose her hand and the teacher turned to her expectingly.
"Yes Ms Davis" the teacher said.
"May I go to the toilet?" She asked sweetly and the teacher reluctantly said yes.
After a couple minutes passed Asha put her hand up.
"Yes Asha"
"Could I go to the bathroom?"
Mrs O'brine allowed her to leave the classroom and before Ash left she made sure to ask the girl next to her if she could grab both her and Ella's things at the end of class. The girl agreed immediately, it was like she was frightened by Asha even though there was thing to be 'frightened' of. Asha shook it off leaving the classroom and bolting down the hallway towards the bathroom.

"Ella!" She shouted walking into the bathrooms.
"Ella?"
"BOO" Ella jumped out from behind a cubicle door and Asha screamed in fright almost slipping over. "Holy shit El, don't do that again" Asha had her hand on her heart trying to slow her heart rate while Ella doubled over in fit of laughter. "You should've seen your face" The brunette laughed and Ash rolled her eyes but laughed as well. 
Ella and Asha spent most their time goofing around in the bathrooms. This included standing on toilets and throwing water at each other. Once they got bored of that they went out into the hallway and decided to sit outside instead.
"So, why do you and Dustin hate each other?" Ella asked, taking her friend by surprise. They were both sitting next to a large tree, out of view from any teachers walking by.
"I accidentally knocked over his sandcastle" Asha responded and Ella looked at her in disbelief before bursting out laughing. "That's it?" She asked, "well no because after that he kicked sand in my eyes and every time I came down here for holidays he would always do something else to piss me off" Explained Asha, annoyed at how her friend was finding this entertaining.
"Like what?"
"Like one time he spilt blue slushie all over my white top when I was playing in the park and mind you it was my favourite shirt"
Ella only seemed to be finding this more and more amusing watching her friend explain the multiple negative encounters she'd experienced with the boy.
"and this other time he found a cockroach on the ground and he put it in my hair"
Asha grimaced grossly at the memory and this seemed to also disgust Ella.
"Okay that's just grotty but have you done anything to him?"
"no" Asha mumbled looking down guiltily and Ella let out a large laugh.
"You liar!" She shouted shoving Asha playfully,
"Hey" Asha pushed her back even harder causing Ella to fall to the side. This then turned into a whole wrestling match between the two best friends until.
"OI WHATS GOING ON DOWN THERE? aren't you girls supposed to be in class?"
Looking up they saw Mr Connel marching towards them with a very grumpy look plastered on his face. "What class are you two supposed to be in?"
Neither answered which only annoyed him more. "Names?"
"Asha Brown"
"Ella Davis"
They grumbled, "you two both have a lunch detention, now get to class before that turns into an after school one as well".
Ella and Asha trudged behind the teacher back to math, if only they managed not to get caught for another ten minutes then class would be over.
Mr Connel knocked on the door of their math classroom, "ah what brings you here Mr Connel?" Mrs O'brine asked and her eyes landed on the girls standing either side of him and her sweet smile turned to a scowl.
"I found these two rolling around on the grass outside" Mr Connel informed her pushing both girls in as they're heads hung low avoiding eye contact with the teachers.
"mm I see, thank you for bringing them back"
"Your very much welcome, you best keep an eye on those two"
"Yes I will Mr Connel".
Asha and Ella went to sit in their original spots but were stopped by the teacher, "no no no you two have caused enough trouble, there is no way I'm letting you sit next to each other, Asha next to Dustin"
Asha's jaw dropped. This was the second time in two days she had been moved next to Dustin. It was like the world was out to get her.
"Again?, Miss do I have to sit next to Dustin of all people?" Whined Asha however her complaining was useless as the teacher wouldn't change her mind.

"Looks like your stuck with me?" Dustin grinned and Asha grumbled, "sadly".

A/N

Two chapters in one day!
Don't get used to it lmao  I just had a lot of motivation to write today.
Also ik I said there would be more Dustin and Asha this chapter and there wasn't (my bad)

But atleast you got a lot of Ella and I literally love their friendship😍
Also what did y'all think of the Instagram posts do you want them to stay or go? (also ik some of the photos don't look like Asha n Ella at all but just imagine it does)
