"I'm just a little.. nervous Pedro, I mean, this is my first time seriously doing it you know?"

The two were sat at 'La Cuchara Caliente' running through some lines for Game of Thrones. After the revelation of Pedro's identity at the party that night, the two felt as though they had crossed a barrier and were finally able to really start getting to know each other.

"Don't worry (y/n), I'll be right there to show you the ropes and introduce you to some cool people I know. It'll be great."

Pedro was feeling enthusiastic about having (y/n) on set. He was excited in a way to have her see him in his natural habitat. To be able to show her what he was passionate about and for her to be involved in one of his greatest accomplishments. Not only this, but her having the same passion? Was she straight out of a dream?

(y/n) however was feeling nervous and a tad bit anxious. This was her first time landing a major role: and this role was a temporary love interest. She was nervous that someone she had grown to respect and get so close to, Pedro, would be watching her act. She was going to be new to a place that would be his everyday-- all she wanted was to make a good impression.

Although the two shared different approaches toward the whole thing, they shared a common concern. Two words: love interest. Sure the two had grown as close friends, but playing love interest and essentially kissing your friend was something completely different. Was it better that they were close? Or would it have been better if it were a stranger they had no ties to? The two were itching to know what the other thought, but alas, they were too timid to outright ask.

"I'm sure it'll be fine, I'm just nervous since it's my first day y'know?"

"I completely get it, on my first day I-"

Pedro was interrupted by an alarm he had set on his phone. It was time for them both to leave the café and get to set.

The set was within walking distance, as the two walked closer and closer to the set, (y/n) couldn't help but notice the amount of aesthetically pleasing, eye catching coffee shops around. She couldn't help but compare their size and location to her own café. Why had Pedro chosen to go to a, in comparison, bland and small café in an awkward location? Who knows.

Pedro on the other hand was hyping himself up. He wanted to set the best first impression for (y/n) and make her first day breeze through as much as he could: he couldn't fail her.

As the two arrived on set, Pedro swiftly introduced (y/n) to people passing by before they were split into different dressing rooms. Pedro was used to this, get some light makeup: concealer, bronzer, whatever they felt he needed, then slip on to his usual mustard robe, or whatever attire was set for him.

(Y/n) sat in her makeup chair, still not used to having someone else be so close to her face and putting every single one of her hairs in place.

"So, you're the one playing Oberyn's love interest?" The unfamiliar woman asked, simply as to make conversation.

"Oberyn? Oh! Pedro, yes I am"

"Pedro? Did you know him already?" the woman raised a brow, genuinely surprised the actors had already gotten acquainted.

"Actually, funny story, we met way before I even got the role"

"Ahh, i see. I was gonna comment that he seemed to be awfully cheery today" she said with a playful smirk

"Is he not usually like that?" (y/n) asked. She had grown used to his playful personality so much so that it was almost weird to imagine him any other way.

"Well, not exactly? He used to come in looking a bit dead with this sort of.." she waved her brush holding hand around in attempt to find her words "..like, 'wheres my coffee' sort of vibe? Like he was never really there. Well-- at least until a few months ago, I guess he started getting coffee beforehand because he seemed more content, but still strange. Almost like his mind was somewhere else. Sometimes he'd carry that empty coffee cup around and occasionally smile at it or something. I don't know, it was weird. Anyways, you're all set, your outfit should be in that room over there" she pointed out the room they were currently in towards a separate door.
