In which an up and coming Pedro Pascal and (y/n) fall in love.
A longing reach followed by dreamy lover life.

It had been months but finally after all the late night line runs and all nighters the season of GOT was over. Pedro and (y/n) definitely needed the break. Over time, (y/n) had managed to grow her own fan base, as people loved her character and the playful relationship she had with Oberyn. Aside from that, people loved the real life relationship her and Pedro shared, as they constantly posted goofy behind the scenes videos and photos. The two were great friends and were basically attached at the hip. Where Pedro was, (y/n) was and vice versa. After the season finale, pedro and (y/n)'s characters had been so popular they had been added to the GOT comic con panel.
As their panel wasn't until the second day, Pedro and (y/n) decided they would roam the stands in costume for fun and have their camera man vlog the experience. Currently, they stood in (y/n)'s hotel room, Pedro still getting ready.
"Hey guys! Join me as we wait another 4 hours for Pedro to be ready" (y/n) giggled up at the camera.
"hey! I can hear you!" Pedro yelled from the bathroom, stepping out in his iconic mustard colored robe, "see? Im done" (y/n) playfully rolled her eyes at him and gave the camera a 'see what I have to deal with?' look.
The two stepped out of the hotel room and discussed the plan.
"I think we should just walk around and see where the crowd takes us" the two agreed and kept walking down the long hall. On the way, Pedro playfully looked at the camera and put his finger up in a 'shh' motion, as he turned around and lightly pushed (y/n). "What the-" she turned around to see a laughing Pedro as she smiled and pushed him back. This ended up with (y/n) running away, clutching her dress in her palms as Pedro chased her down the hall, Camera man not far behind.
Now in the comic con lobby, (y/n) quickly spotted some GOT cosplayers and stood next to them to try and blend in, "Holy shit it's (y/n)-" "Shhh, don't blow my cover" they all huddled around her and started conversation, although it wasn't long until she saw Pedro rushing towards her, before she could react, she was thrown over his shoulder as Pedro triumphantly laughed. By now there was a crowd of fans watching their childish antics as Pedro declared to the camera:"she's mine!" Before mischievously running away, leaving (y/n) facing the camera. She laughed, yelling out a few playful 'help!'s.
Eventually the two made their way to the stands full of merch and random trinkets. They laughed as they pointed out things they liked, suddenly though, (y/n) found that she was talking to herself, "-Pedro?" She looked around to see he had stayed a few booths back.
As she made her way over, she saw that he was smiling down at his palms. Something he just bought?
"What is it Pedro?" He was knocked out of his trance and smiled looking down at his palm again, now a little embarrassed, "Oh, uh, I thought we could have these" He reached out his palms to show what he had bought: two small keychains of Oberyn and Alora, the character she played. You stared in silence, taken aback by the sweet gesture, "Look if you don't like it it's fine-" "I love them....thank you" she smiled at him.
Pedro's worried face immediately turned into a happy one, her smile alone was enough to turn his whole mood around. "I was thinking you could have Oberyn and I could have Alora, if that's ok" He said shyly, she nodded in agreement and took the Oberyn keychain from his hand.
They continued walking through the stands, with mostly (y/n) spotting characters she liked or shows she found interesting. Pedro couldn't help but watch her as she spoke with such passion and happiness on her face, he couldn't get over the fact that he had grown so close to such a beautiful person; inside and out. His heart panged as he felt something missing. He longed for more. Sure he loved being her friend, best friend, actually. But he longed to embrace her, to hold her hand, he wanted to be able to boast that she was his and that he belonged to her. The more days that passed the more these feelings grew. He was dangerously close to his breaking point, but he was afraid that a few words of confession would ruin what he had built with her. He found himself more and more occupied with thoughts like this, and he wasn't sure what to do about them.
The next day, the two made their way over to the GOT panel. They gave the actors some time to get ready and set up before letting fans in, which (y/n) was grateful for. During that time, she decided to go on her phone which she hadn't gone on because of how busy she was. She was surprised to see thousands of tags on Instagram from the day before. So many different angles of her being carried away by Pedro, and of them walking through the lobby and the booths. She couldn't help but smile as she recalled those moments.
Her attention quickly shifted as they were given a last notice and fans began pouring in, although (y/n) had experience with interviews, being face to face with a bunch of fans was definitely a new experience. Her eyes slightly widened and she looked down at her lap to see Pedro had lightly placed his hand on top of her knee as silent reassurance. She looked up at him with a smile, she truly couldn't be more grateful for him. He had been with her through everything, and somehow he just ...got her. Everything was natural with him,
real.
She had never met anyone like him and didn't plan on letting him go anytime soon. She wasn't sure what these feelings were, but she felt strong admiration for him, and like she wanted him to be by her side forever.
The panel continued with fans asking the usual questions: how was it working with the cast? How is it getting in costumes? How's the director? Most of the more personal questions were directed at the more popular characters, giving (y/n) a slight ease of mind. Eventually, though, the questions for Oberyn and Alora came pouring in.
"You two are so cute on the show, are you guys friends in real life or is it just on screen?"
The two laughed and said their thanks, as pedro continued, "we are friends in real life, we were actually friends before we even knew we'd be co-stars!" The crowd released a lot of curious 'ooos' as (y/n) expanded on Pedros statement, "Pedro and I met when I worked at my parents café"
"Wait, so (y/n) didn't recognize you? Or realize you were Oberyn on GOT"
"Funny story actually-" Pedro started with a nervous chuckle as he was quickly interrupted, "He lied to me" The crowd gasped in amusement as (y/n) had a fake frown on her face. Pedro laughed, leaning into her shoulder before continuing, "hey, it wasn't really a lie!" "He gave me a fake name guys" she said, dragging a face down her cheek to symbolize a tear. The two laughed as they retold the anecdote of how they met and how they realized they were working together. The two found themselves unable to stop smiling as they realized how far they had gotten from then, and how comfortable with each other they were now.
"So, long story short, be careful with customers, they won't leave you alone" (y/n) laughed as Pedro gave a pout and playfully shoved her, "yeah, too bad you're stuck with me"
The panel had ended pretty late, and the two had gone to their respective hotel rooms. (Y/n) laid scrolling on her phone. The fans had loved her and Pedro's chemistry on the panel, and shared their favorite moments. Many also speculated the relationship they had and whether it really was just friendship because of the telling of their "meet cute". (Y/n) simply smiled at the thought that people supported her friendship with Pedro and that they had even liked her in the first place.
She put her phone down on the night stand before hearing a knock on the door. She quickly checked her phone, who would be knocking at this hour? She stood and slowly opened the door, "..hello?" The door fully opened, revealing a disheveled Pedro. He stood there with bed head-- barefoot, carrying a blanket and a pillow, "Peter's snores are...something else..
....can I spend the night?"
