chapter twenty three

AURORA STUFFED THE SPOON WHICH WAS FULL of cookie dough ice cream into her mouth as she sniffled. she was spending the night at dougie's house, not wanting to be around ddot for a little bit.

the two boys that stood in the kitchen watched her with a frown.

"what y'all think i'm wrong for yellin at ddot?" she muttered, putting the spoon into the ice cream. "no & yes." dougie sighed, "you gotta right to be mad, cause what i kno is that ddot did say he was gonna be mad loyal to you, so i feel like him goin against his word is fucked up."

"but.. you were dead aurora. i doubt he knew you were alive, i see where both of y'all coming from. it's wrong on both sides to try and blame each other, but you were supposedly dead." dougie said, aurora nodded, wiping her face.

"your both in the wrong, but also in the right. overall ddot is a bitch for fuckin that hoe, regardless. that shouldn't have happened. but he would've reacted the same way if he found out you was fuckin on some nigga while being dead." kay added in. they both came around the counter and sat next to aurora.

aurora handed the ice cream to kay who took it, getting some ice cream and putting the spoon in his mouth. "this ice cream good as shit."

"fuck up. not the time." dougie mugged him. "did you break up with him?"

"hell no." aurora laughed, "i love darrien. i will never stop loving him. i was jus so upset and hurt, i needed space. some time."

"but i think im ready to go back and see him."

"what the fuck? no." kay jerked his head back. "you've only been gone for like a couple hours, take some more time and space to ya self. y'all both need time to think and shit. we'll let you go see him tomorrow."

aurora groans and nods. "thank y'all."

"of course." dougie smiled.

"i'm still shocked seeing y'all around oy peacefully."

"we warmed up to them." kay shrugs. "especially dd and notti ugly ass. i neva thought i would fuck wit em like that."

"i seen you and notti fighting." aurora laughs. "that's ma son, along wit david big headed ass. this nigga really look like me. i'm fuckin shocked. i still look betta tho."

aurora shook her head, smiling to herself.

BACK AT DDOT'S HOUSE.

ddot pulled from the blunt he held in his hand, his thoughts racing. he knew both of them were right in a way, but also wrong. he shouldn't have aubree, that was the biggest mistake he's ever made.

everyone had left after aurora left, leaving ddot to a empty house with his thoughts.

he rubbed his forehead stressed, "i fucked up so bad man." he whispered.

knocks at his front door, made him groan and get out of bed. he walked all the way down the steps & to the front door.

"what yo?" he snaps, his face immediately scrunched up after seeing aubree.

"ddot?" aubree let out a breath of relief. "we need to talk."

"mmcht fuck no." he attempted to close the door, aubree pushing it back open. "ddot im pregnant!"

darrien froze, "wha?" he managed to get out. "i found out yesterday."

"now your lyin. fuck out ma face with that bullshit."

"how am i lying?" - "BITCH IAN NUT IN YOU!" he yelled.

aubree flinched. "niggas pulled out before i even felt the feelin coming, so you sound dumb jus like how you look. so fuck. out. my. face."

aubree shook her head, she sighed before frowning. "you can never just go along with it." she mutters, confusing ddot.

"bitch what?"

"watch that bitch word." ddot heard, along with the sound of a gun clicking. his eyes widened, feeling the cold gun touching the side of his forehead.

"what the fuck is goin on?" ddot snaps. the unknown person smacks their lips before pistol whipping him, rendering him unconscious. "fuck up bitch."

"did you have to hit him so hard?" aubree exclaims, catching his body before he could hit the ground.

"stop talkin to me." top mugged her, pushing past the girl and making his way back to the car.

7 mins before.

"how are you gonna get in?". aubree questions, nervously tapping her leg. "back door. stop askin questions and go, wasting ma time."

top hopped out, and ran to the back of the house, leaving aubree to her thoughts before she quickly hopped out the car.

present time.

the two carried ddot to the car , laying him in the backseat in a upright position.

"you got his phone?" - "yes kentrell." she mumbled.

top rolled his eyes & drove off.

time skip.

AURORA PACED BACK and forth as she waited for ddot's text back. "can you chill? you makin me dizzy." kay groans.

"darrien's not answering."

"maybe he don't fuck witchu no more." kay shrugs. "really kevin?"

"aye chillout." he mugged her. aurora huffed and sat down on his bed, biting her nails. "what if sum happened to her?"

"i doubt nun happened." kay muttered, sitting down next to her.

dougie had left out to go handle something, leaving the two alone. "you sure?" aurora asked. "i can't have anything happen to him."

"i swear." kay quietly said. aurora gave him a soft smile. "thank you."

he hummed. "do you think you'll be with him forever?"

"hopefully yes." the thought of them growing old together, excited aurora. she loved him with everything in her. he was the best thing to ever happen to her.

"but y'all not together now right?"

"i mean we still are.." aurora treads, titling her head. "but technically your not. i mean he did cheat."

"your right. why does any of this matter?" aurora scrunches her face up. kay grabs her chin & turns her head towards him.

before she could protest, he connects their lips, catching her off guard.

aurora gasps and pushed kay back. she lifted her arm & slapped the shit out of him.

"the fuck is your problem?!" she exclaims, scooting back. kay rubs his cheek. "oh."

"fuck you mean oh kevin? you can't jus .. you can't kiss me!" she stuttered.

aurora bits her lip and sits farther away from him. "i love darrien. you can't kiss me kay."

"he fuckin' cheated on you!"

"he had the right." - "bro are you dumb?"

"jus shut up." she snaps rubbing her temple. kay stands up and comes to stand in front of her, making her scoot back. "move."

"gimme a chance aurora." he whispers, grabbing her hands. aurora stares back at him.

thinking it was okay, kay leaned in, once again connecting their lips.
