"i do" those were the words right before darrien and aurora shared a long, meaningful kiss in front of their family and friends.

after months of problems, and years of missing each other, they were finally married. something they have been looking forward to since they were kids.

"i love you so much." aurora whispers against ddot's lips, looking up at him with love in her eyes.

she gasped in surprise, as she felt tiny hands wrap around her legs. she looked down at her three kids.

"mommy, daddy!!" they all exclaimed, big smiles on their young faces.

aurora bent down to hug each and every one of her kids, while ddot watched in admiration.

notti and dd ran up to ddot, jumping up and down in excitement. darrien did nothing but join them.

- later on during the evening, aurora and ddot danced on the floor, all eyes on them.

"i wish my mother was here to see this." aurora whispered. ddot gave her a small smile, "i know."

aurora rested her head on his shoulder, his hands tightening it's grip on her waist as they danced slowly around the dance floor.

2 months later;

natalia dipped her hand into the bucket of paint, before tip-toeing towards nikolai whos back was towards hers.

she smacked his back harshly, his once white shirt now had two pink hand prints on the back.

"natalia what the fuck!" nikolai screamed, dropping his paint brush on the plastic below him.

"excuse me?" aurora raised a brow at her son. "sorry, what the heck." he corrected himself, stepping away from his mother.

"oh ok."

"we gotta step letting dd babysit our kids." ddot shook his head, a small smile on his face.

the Jimenez family was currently painting natalia's bedroom, the last room they needed to do out of their 6 bedroom house.

their dream house.

btw, the kids are like 6.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, happy birthday to you! happy birthdayyyy to naseem, natalia, nikolai. happy birthday to youuu!" aurora and ddot sing to their triplets.

the triplets blow out each one of their individual cupcakes, before stuffing their faces of the sweets.

"i have a surprise for you." ddot whispered in her ear, aurora curiously looked at him. "huh? you mean for the kids? it's their birthday."

"no, mommy for you!" natalia exclaims, chocolate frosting all over her face. aurora laughs in amusement, "wipe your face alia."

nikolai grabbed a napkin beside from him, and yanked his sister towards him so he could wipe her face, knowing she would've just asked him anyway.

"you ready kids?"

naseem sighed, standing up and walking towards the living room. he was being forced into the big surprise for his mom, he wasn't a singer. and he didn't enjoy making a fool of himself.

natalia ran behind him, dragging nikolai by his hand. "cmon nik!"

aurora followed after her kids, darrien trailing behind.

"sit mommy sit!" nikolai demanded. "ok ok, i'm sitting." aurora raised her hands up in mock surrender.

she took a seat on the chair, her brows furrowing in genuine confusion. she didn't know why she was getting a surprise on her kids birthday, it should be all about them.

natalia and nikolai pressed play on a video, sparing a quick glance at their mother to see her reaction.

the words 'SLEEPING BEAUTY' appeared on the screen, the background full of videos of aurora.

"happy birthday mommy!" natalia's and nikolai's tiny voices were heard, a video of aurora of her painting her belly overlapped the words.

aurora watched as the videos of her laughing, and smiling popped up.

a video from aurora and darrien in 9th grade appeared on the screen, darrien was kissing aurora's cheek while she smiled at the camera.

aurora snuck a glance at her husband, who was already staring at her. she sent him a smile, which he returned.

videos of ddot in the studio, during various times showed. a song began playing in the background, making aurora freeze in shock. it was ddot.

"i think i wanna change it to sleeping beauty. to represent rory." ddot's voice overlapped, "whatchu think aurora?"

"mhm mhm, i agree." a distracted aurora said, she was in the background setting up the baby supplies, something she demanded that she does without ddot's help.

time skip ahead a few years:

"you ran away my date!" natalia exclaimed, her hands balled into fist. nikolai rolled his eyes, "you don't needa have a boyfriend anyway."

"dad!" natalia turned to her father, hoping he would defend her. "he has a point talia. your 14."

"you let nikolai go to a party and he's the same age as me!"

"no duh, we're triplets, we're gonna be the same age." nikolai said, "and it wasn't a party party. it was a birthday party at dave and busters. which you went to."

"doesn't matter, it's a party." natalia purposely ignored the part about her also going to the party. darrien just laughed at his kids, his attention still on the road.

his son naseem who was in the passenger seat had his music blasting. aurora, his wife; was at home, doing an at home self care day, which was why darrien had the kids.

it was peaceful. nothing was happening. oh how great it feels to not be in drama.

they had finally got their happy ending.
or so they thought.
deep down aurora knew this wasn't the end.

KENNNEXTDOORRR; it's the ending of fav crimeeeeee. it's been a fun time writing this. honestly, i'll miss it all.

but , thoughts on a sequel? 🙃
- i didn't go into detail about saint or catherines death, or dthangs death for a reason!!!! if you all decide on a sequel, it will be explained!

i also wanna go into detail about who saint really is, if you forgot; in chapter 36 catherine reveals his real name, 'deondre'.
"he'll find out... deondre. they all will."
what she meant by this, is they'll find out why saint involved himself with mekhi. there is a lot of plot holes i feel like, that will be further explained.
