"Hold up, hold up. So, explain to me again, what's happening?" The Queen asked,
"There's an evil king from a far away planet way outside our galaxy, he wants to take over Syspocalypsestar and marry Amelia!" Emmet explained for the second time,
"This sounds serious - We need to act fast." The Queen stated, then the palace doors opened and everyone was greeted with Amelia and a shocking unexpected guest standing in the doorway.
Emmet was the first to speak, "Rex?!"
"Yeah- Hey, Kid." Rex said,
"Isn't he the guy who tried to destroy the universe?" Benny said,
"Thank you so much for bringing that up-" Rex said, he didn't wanna hear about his past actions.
"Cm'on, y'all. It doesn't matter what he did, the past is the past for a reason. Besides, we need all the help we can get right now." Watevra said,
"But- How are you back?" Lucy asked,
"Emmet never became you."
"I'm wondering that myself, but we'll find out later - right now, we have a problem we need to take care of."
"Who is this king guy anyway? I'm the only king around here!" Batman asked,
"He says his name is Firen, and he's from a planet called- Galactron? I think that's the name of it." Amelia said,
"The worst part is, he wants to marry you." Rex said,
"Ooo, I think I sense a love connection!" Unikitty excitedly said,
"Unkitty, please don't try and play cupid." Amelia said,
"Oh- I won't. Or will I?" She whispered the last part to herself while making a mischievous expression.
"All I know is that we need to stop him before he takes over our home," Amelia stated,
"And before he makes me his wife-"
"How did that even happen, exactly?" Mayhem asked,
"I dunno, I just went to ask him who he was and why he was here. Then he started to get...flirty with me-" She shuddered, remembering what happened.
Rex had an angry look on his face after hearing that.
"There ain't no way my best friend is getting married to that guy!" Unikitty said,
"I don't wanna marry him anyway, he's not my type-" Amelia said,
"He better not be!" Unikitty exclaimed,
"Unikitty, please- I will be fine." Amelia reassured her,
"Okay, enough arguing. We need to find this guy's weakness, doesn't every villain have one?" Lucy said,
"They do, remember, I had a weakness." Rex said,
"Right, Emmet not becoming you was your weakness." Amelia said, "But it may take a while to find his, until then, I need to lay low."
"Wow, a police officer laying low. That's a new one." Rex said,
"Shut up-" Amelia told him. "I have no idea where I'm gonna go- King Firen probably knows all my safe spots now..."
"Not all of them." Rex said,
"Huh? What do you mean?" Amelia asked,
"I rebuilt my ship, so you can stay with me 'till we find out how to stop this dude."
"Are you sure about that? He'll just end up finding me again."
"As long as I'm around, he won't be able to touch you."
They heard "aws" from Emmet, Mayhem, and Unikitty. In response, they glared at them. Rex and Amelia locked eyes with each other again,
"Then I think I'll be fine."
