—> Sadie Powles was a hardcore romantic but she never trusted love. She loved the idea of being loved by someone but never let herself get attached enough for it to happen. Some fucked up result of her past couple situationships.

Probably didn't help that her parents relationship wasn't exactly one she could look up to for help or admiration either. And so she refused to let herself get attached enough to be hurt by someone who wouldn't commit to her.

She also had been dragged into the world of social media as every other teenager and stumbled upon tik tok. The girl initially had no idea how she wanted to use the app but when she stumbled upon an account, duetted a video for fun and it blew up she gained a pretty strong idea of how she would continue her use of the social media platform.

It was even funnier that her best friend was a fan of the boy in question. Even more awkward when one of the brothers of this guy likes her video, follows her and dms her and she finds herself falling back into her old ways of becoming attached way too quickly and letting her heart yearn for someone who's own heart didn't know what he wanted either.
