Athena Riley is the daughter of Dewey Riley and Gale weathers. She knows the story behind Woodsboro's killing, her dad and mother were the people who survived all the chaos that happen all those years ago. 11 years have past since the last ghost face killing, and her aunt Sidney and the others have survived the Ghost face killing once again, throughout the years Athena's parents had spitted up.
Her mother went to live in New York due to a new job promotion leaving Athena and her dad alone in Woodsboro. Athena chose to live here because all her friends were here and Chad Meeks Martin who is the nephew of Randy Meeks is also the guy she has been in love with all her life. Mindy who is Chad's twin sister makes fun of her of course, but Athena didn't care.
Later on she meets Amber and the rest of the gang and ever since then they all become very close. Then Chad finally gets the courage to ask Athena out their senior year and of course Athena says yes and they been a happy couple ever since.
