When me and chad finally made it to the apartment we went to my room. He sat down on my bed while I walked to my closet and got some clothes to change.
"Athena did you really have to knee that guy in the nuts" Chad asked me, at this point I have already taken my costume off and was in my bra and underwear, and then turned to him.
"Yes, I did Chad. He said something about Sam, and I wasn't going to let that slide" I told him, I grabbed the shirt that was sitting on my bed and put it on along with my shorts.
"Yea just how you had to punch that girl two days ago because she said something about Mindy's shirt" Chad said
"Hey, Mindy had an amazing shirt and she said that it was ugly" I told him and then picked up the clothes on the floor.
"Thea that's not the point" Chad said
"Then what is the point" I said
"The point is, you need to punch every person who says something about us. We can handle them by ourselves. I don't want to keep pulling you away every time you get into a fight" Chad expressed
"Look Athena, I love that you want to protect us, and that's what we all love about you, but maybe you can take it down a couple of notches." Chad said, but what Chad doesn't understand is that I need to protect them, I don't want to lose them how I lost my dad.
I look at him and nod, and then look away. Then I see that he was walking towards me and wraps his arms around me and uses one of his hands to leave my face to face him and then he kisses me.
"I love you, okay"
"I love you too, I'm sorry" I said
"Its ok" he answered, and then Quinn walks in and saw what was happening
"Did I cock-block you guys?" Quinn asked us
"Yeah, a little bit" I said to her
"Sorry, but you guys have to come see this" Quinn said
We immediately ran to the living room where I saw Mindy, Anika, Sam, Ethan, and Tara sitting
"What's going on" I asked
As we watched the TV, they announced something about our classmates being dead.
"Jason carvey and Greg..."
I look over at Anika and Mindy
"Holy shit, that's the guy from our films class." Mindy said, pointing at the television as photos of the two boys popped up
And then they started talking about ghost face and then stab franchise
"Pack a bag, we leave in ten" Sam told Tara
"Sam. Wait Sam" Tara called out to her sister
I walked from the living room and walked to my room and into my closet and grabbed my shoe box that was sitting on the shelf of my closet and opened it, I then grabbed the gun and started loading it (I can thank my dad for teaching me how to load and shoot a gun) and then I hear someone enter my room and noticed it was chad.
"What the fuck Thea, since when did you have a gun" Chad asked me
"Since my mom got it for me" I said, once I was done loading it I placed it back in the box and put it back it was placed before, and walked back to the living.
When I walk back to the living I noticed Sam holding a knife
"Quinn, your dad's a cop right? Can you call him to find out what's going on? Before you make the utilitarian decision to abandon my college education and flee the fucking state." Tara snapped shouting at Sam
Sam glanced over at our friend, who was holding her phone to her ear, "I'm calling him right now." Quinn stated.
"Thank you." Tara said as on cue the phone rang making everyone jump up in fear and panic
Sam and I slowly walked towards her phone which was on the table, Sam gabbed it and turned it to me and showed it was my mom, but Sam didn't answer it
"Why did everyone just freak out when her phone rang?" Ethan asked
"You got to keep up" Anika said
The phone stopped ringing, and then rang again but this time it was my mom
"I will be right back" I told Chad and walk to the hall way of building and answered it
"Finally you guys answered the phone" I hear my mom say
"Why are you calling mom?" I asked her
"I saw the news and I wanted to know if you were ok, and also saw that fight video of you and Sam. You Aunt Sid definitely taught you that. right hook" She said
"Mom I am fine, I am with everyone right now" I told her
"Ok I wanted to make sure, I don't want to lose you too. I already lost your dad" Gale said sadly. Ever since my dad my mom has been very worried about me.
"I know but I am ok, I still have the gun all loaded and ready to go if anything happens" I said
"Good girl, well I will let you go ok, I love you, stay safe" She said
"Love you too" And then I hung up and saw that Sam and Tara were leaving
"Where are you guys going?" I asked
"The police station, stay here ok" Tara said and left
"Okay" I said, and walked back inside, and sat next to Chad and Mindy who was sitting on the couch
"Who was it?" Chad asked
"My mom, she wanted to make sure that we were ok" I told him, he nodded and grabbed my legs put them on top of his, and began to rub them with his hands. This was turning me on.
"Are you guys hungry, because right now I want some pizza" I said to everyone
"Yes, I am starving" Anika said
"Ok I will order it" Quinn said and walked to her to get her phone.
"Hey you guys, I wanted to say I am sorry for what happened tonight at the party, and for getting into so many fights"I said to everyone
"Athena it's ok, I understand that you want to protect us and that what we love about you" Mindy said, and I turned around to hug her.
"I love you too my gorgeous bestie" I tell her, she laughs and hugs me
"Come on you guys group hug" I said to everyone and then we hugged each other and laughed.
It's moments like this that make me forget everything that is happening or anything that happened to us. To be surrounded by people who love each other and laugh at one another. Memories that I hope to never forget and cherish them forever.
