Six

3rd person 

Police began to arrive and escorted Mindy and the rest them from Danny's apartment to a nearby ambulance. Mindy began to see Chad and Tara approach them, this made tears develop in her eyes 'I have to tell him', Chad came and hugged her tight that caused Mindy to wince in pain. 

"Sorry, are you ok? Where's Thea? Is she hurt?" Chad asked quickly, Mindy looked at him with a sad expression. Everyone looked at one another but didn't say anything. 

"Mindy, Where's Athena" Chad asked again but this time it sounded more worried, and then noticed tears were developing in her eyes, he then looked at Anika who was sitting in the ambulance with a blanket wrapped around her crying silently, and then at Sam who didn't look at him, he began shaking his head. 

"No Mindy, please don't tell me she's..." He couldn't even finish his sentence feeling a lump in his throat coming up, Mindy began to cry again and nodded her head, he stood there shocked not knowing what to do.

"I am so sorry chad, she told me and Anika to go first and when it was her turn, Ghostface got her" Mindy said with tears coming down her face, he didn't say anything he then felt a tear fall down, Mindy saw this and hugged him she didn't care that it was hurting her right now. Sam walked away from them and went somewhere to smoke. Chad and Mindy pulled away from one another and then heard some yelling. 

"We still have one more!" A man yells from existing from the building and pushing a bed, and there lies Athena, wearing a breathing mask. 

"Athena" Chad said and towards her along with everyone else, Athena looks over to everyone and takes off her mask. 

"You guys can't get rid of me so fast" She said then grabbed Chad's face and rubbed it with her thumb and then saw her mom come running towards her. 

"You young lady are grounded for the rest of your life for scaring me like that" Gale said with tears coming down her face, Athena smiles 

"Sorry Mom" She says

"Ma'ma she needs to go to the hospital immediately" The man says

"ok, sweetie i will be right behind you I have to talk to Sam and everyone is ok" Gale said to her daughter. The man then runs Athena to the ambulance, leaving Chad and the rest of them staring at the ambulance that carries Athena. 

"She's ok" Mindy whispers, at Chad and then they walk back to the ambulance that they were at before and waited. Chad's body stiffened as he saw someone from a distance. 

"Fucking Landry." He clenched his jaw as he started walking toward the boy who had ducked under the yellow crime scene tape. Chad grabbed Ethan's collar and shoved him against a car. 

"Where were you?" He asked demanding

"When?" 

"Last night!" 

"I had Econ you know this!"Ethan fought back as Chad pushed farther. 

"Bullshit! The one time you're not there my sister and girlfriend almost get killed" 

"Dude! I was in a study hall, with a hundred other people, you can ask any of them," Ethan put his hands up in defense as Chad let go. 

"Fuck, man." 

Ethan followed Chad as he walked over to everyone, Ethan paused as he saw a body bag being  pushed in-front of him. 

"Who?" 

"Quinn and some guys she was hooking up with, and almost Athena. She barely made it out alive" Chad answered sadly

"You guys I am so sorry," Ethan turned towards Chad, Anika, Tara, and Mindy. Mindy put her hand up. 

"Stay the fuck back, you're at the top of mine and Athena's list" Mindy said 

"I swear I had Econ!" Ethan said trying to convince Mindy 

"Bullshit Ethan! My Best-friend almost died last night protecting me and everyone else, and you weren't there. I almost had to tell my brother that his girlfriend died. So that gives me enough reasons why I shouldn't trust you, and why Athena shouldn't trust you, because if she was here right now she would agree with me." Mindy said grabbing Anika's hand and holding it tight, and laid her hand on her shoulder. 

After everything was done everyone went to their apartment and went to change, and then the hospital to go see Athena.

Athena's point of view 

I open my eyes and bright lights fill my eyes, and cause me to groan and use my hand to hover over my eyes. I looked around and noticed my mom and Chad in the room sitting down waiting, I guess they were waiting for me to wake up. 

"Mom? Chad?" I asked, they both turn their heads and look at me and sit closer to me and grab my hands. 

"Athena your ok! OMG I was so scared that I lost you" my mom said and kissed my head, I saw a tear fall down from her eye, that caused me to cry a little. 

"I am so sorry mom, I tried to make sure everyone was ok before me, Is everyone ok? Is Mindy and Anika ok? did they get their wounds closed?" I asked quickly, my mom and Chad chuckle a little. 

"Everyone is ok Athena, Mindy and Anika did get their wounds closed and cleaned, they are in the waiting room right now" Chad said, I smile and nod my head 

"who's all here?" I asked 

"everyone, Ethan, Mindy, Anika, Tara, Sam, and that Danny guy" Chad said, when chad said Ethan's name that got me thinking, 'Where was Ethan last night'. 

"Can you call everyone in here, except Ethan and Danny" I said to chad and my mom

"Yeah I will go get them" Chad said, leaving me and my mom alone for a couple of seconds, and then everyone came in and smiled when they saw me. Mindy and Anika came running towards me and hugged me causing me to wince in the pain on my stomach. Mindy, and Anika pull away. 

"Sorry, we were worried you were gone Thea" Anika said then I saw her and Mindy have tears come down their faces, causing to have some tears too. 

"I am here, and I am ok, I promised I was right behind you" I said to Anika and smiled and hugged me again 

"I thought I would have to find a new best-friend" Mindy said and that causes everyone to laugh including me

"Ok that enough I want to hug her too" Tara said 

"Yeah me too" Sam said, pulling the girl off of me and hugging me next 

"Look Chad, you're not the only hoe I have" I said to him, that caused everyone to laugh once again. 

"Yeah whatever" Chad said 

"But don't worry Chad your my main hoe" I said and winked at him 

"Ok ew, not around me please" Mindy said, I laugh and so does chad 

"As much as I want to laugh with you guys right now, we have Ghostface killer to deal with, and I already have my suspects" I said, and Mindy starts smiling and squealing. 

"This is why you are my best friend" Mindy said
