what i've learned in my shs love?

love. decision. mistakes. and love again.

➶. Love can't be fake, it must be a true and real feeling. Love is a selfless act. It's not just wanting to put someone else's needs ahead of your own. It's a mixture of deep gratitude that this person is in your life and fear of what your life would be like if they weren't. It is when you care so much about someone that it scares you. Love can change you. It pushes you to do better, be better, and live your life more fully, and once you achieve these goals, love will stick with you. It continues to push you. It sees the world in ways you have never seen before. It's trying new things you never thought you'd try. It allows you to accept the difference in how someone else perceives the same world you do. Love forces you to consider things you would not have considered otherwise.

➶. Decision. Don't hesitate to ask about someone's opinion, asking for help doesn't make you lose. It will help you to decide what is the right path, or wrong, but there's a time that you need to decide on your own.

➶. Mistakes, we all need to learn from our own mistakes.

They should always think of themselves first. Being selfless somehow doesn't imply being selfish. Trying to hide how we feel hurts, and nobody deserves it. I hope they don't have to go through the same thing, but if they have, or if they do, let them know what it is.

Can love be faked? for me, love can never be faked. The feelings had shown. If the feeling is fake, is it really love?

Love rule 101: love should be genuine and pure intention.
