Is it a bird, is it a plane?

The next day, you take your journey by taxi, the weather is drizzly and horrible and you don't fancy walking. Surprisingly the traffics not too bad so you make good time, you reach forward to pay the driver and almost open the door. The sky goes dark. Darker than it already is. Just for a second. You look up but from inside the car you can't see what just happened, you step out the car quickly as do many others and look up, nothing. Just at that moment two jets take of from the top of the avengers tower.
"Woahh." You gasp aloud.

You feel a vibrating in your pocket and reach for your phone, Nat.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" "WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?"
"Okay uhmm, Y/N." "Thanos is back."
"WHAT,"
"I can't talk for very long so no questions but I'm going to explain something to you."
"Please Y/N listen very carefully." You can hear the stress in her voice and you try to put on your bravest voice to reassure her.
"Of course Nat, I'm listening."
"Captain America's out, he's bashed up good and banner's trying his hardest to save him..."
She sighs exasperated, "I guess what I'm trying to say is. We're two avengers down, would you give us a hand?"
"Holy crap."
"Y/N, I need a yes or a no asap."
"Y-yes, of course," Your body is coursing with adrenaline, unable to believe your ears.
"Perfect."

The second she says it you get pulled up into the sky by some thick steel rope, you struggle for a second having no idea if you're being pulled into a enemy jet or an avengers jet, you just know it's very, very high up. As you get further up you see your heading for an avengers plane and you are slightly relieved still terrified of how far in the sky you are. You reach the edge and Natasha pulls you over the side.
"Thanks," You say panting.
She doesn't say anything just hands you an earpiece and a suit. You put them on whilst she tells you the plan.
"Hawkeye and Iron Man are on the other jet, they go in first." "We suspect Thanos has an infinity stone but there's no way of checking for sure..." She carries on but you stop her.
"I can," You tell her.
"You can what?"
"I can figure out if he has an infinity stone." You pull up your hologram that you work with out of a small case in your pocket you flip it open and start tapping away, you zoom in to the spaceship in front of you and click analyse. It takes a few seconds to whir but soon enough you have a full analysis, you decode it.
"Boom!"
"Thanos has two infinity stones on board his spaceship X-N7564." A robotic voice says,
"He has the blue one and the purple one ." You tell Nat still staring into your hologram.
"Shit." "He's gonna be so slippery to catch."
"What do they mean?" You ask new to all this.
"The blue stone is the space stone, it means he can teleport anywhere he wishes."
"And the purple one?"
"The purple stone is the power stone, pretty self explanatory." She says with determination.
"I just don't know how we're going to defeat him with two stones in his possession."
"What if we out do him?" "One up him, We find three of the stones and use them against him." You put up a good point but Natasha quickly dismisses it.
"It takes way too long to find the stones by the time we even get one he'll have destroyed half the world."
"Okay so why don't we take the ones he's already got?" Nat's eyes open wide after hearing your plan.
"Yes!" "We do that."

"Tony?" "Do you read me?" Nat asks over the earpiece.
"Loud and clear Nat."
"Okay Y/N has had a good idea."
"Ohh we have Y/N now do we, perfect" You scrunch your face unsure if this was a sarcastic comment, was he informed of this plan?
"Tony, here's the plan." "You and Clint go in and attack Thanos, whilst your doing that I help you by surprising him, then Y/N sneaks in and takes the stones. She'll have a parachute on so after collecting them both she just jumps out."
"Okay good plan, well done Y/N,"
"Thank you sir."

You hear the jet behind you speed up and level with the ginormous spaceship in comparison. Tony launches himself and lands on the roof and Clint follows soon after. You wait 5 minutes and Natasha creeps the jet closer to the UFO. She jumps out landing in her typical pose, she jumps in through the top of the ship and it's your time to shine.

You grab on your parachute take one last look at where the stones are located and drop in near the back. You roll on landing to take out some of the impact. As you stand up to turn around you feel a blow to the back of your head, you turn around and find the ugliest alien looking thing you've ever seen. You gasp at the sight of his horrendous face but snap back to it landing a punch right where his nose should be. You snatch a tiny blade from your belt and spin round slicing wherever you could.
Purple liquid starts oozing out of him, "Well that's not normal." You think to yourself.
He grabs you by the neck and starts choking you, you take the fist with your blade in and slam it into his forehead. He drops you instantly plucking out the blade and takes a swipe at you you dodge by a millimetre feeling the blade scrape past you.

You slide underneath him, standing up sharply causing him to fall flat on his face, you kneel on his back bending his arms towards you, you put the slightest bit of pressure on and his arms snap. He lets out a scream but your cover his mouth and put him in a headlock, you jerk your arms hear a loud crack, you let go of him and watch his head thump to the floor, blood pouring out of his mouth.

You stand up wiping your hands off, lucky your suit is black, you think as you try to wipe off the blood splatters. You walk over to the box and try to unlock it it's code protected you pull up your hologram and hack into the space crafts system. The box pops open and you take both glimmering stones and shove them into your pocket. You are just about to jump out of the ship when you hear a bloodcurdling scream, Natasha. You run towards the ongoing sound but stop right in front of the door. You crawl up into a cubby hole and spy on the monster, you imagine a few blows to the head taking the damage yourself it only startled him and he turns around a flopped Nat in his hands. You gasp at the sight of her lifeless body, just at that second Iron man storms in palms outstretched, before he can do anything he is pushed off the spaceship. You close your eyes and realise. You are the beholder of the power stone you pull out the stones from your pocket. "Shit," You think to yourself, "Which one is the power stone."
"Your gonna need the purple one." A voice from behind you says, you jump facing the voice and let out a sigh of relief when you find it's only Clint. You hold it in your hand feeling the power flowing through you like electricity.

You run forward leaping out of your hidy hole and you punch him right in the face, he drops Nat and stumbles backwards. Another one, he falls to the ground. You clamber on top of him as Clint rushes to sweep Nat out of the way. You punch him repeatedly, over and over and over again until your breathless and his eyes are stone cold, starring up at the ceiling you whip out a large knife and stab him right in the heart. You run to the door opening it, you put the stone back safely in your pocket and throw Clint a parachute. You strap a very unconscious Natasha into your own backpack and hold onto her you jump out staring at her peacefully sleeping face. "God she's beautiful even battered and unconscious." You whisper gently.
