Somewhere between hour 5 and hour 7 of your 9 hour marathon you fell asleep. Nat wakes you up just before one O'clock so you can watch the ending with her which you cry some more at, and then almost instantly fall back to sleep.

"Up. Up. Up." You wake to Natasha calling from the side of your bed who's already got her suit on.
"Wouldn't want to be late for training."
You groan and swing your arm over to check the time, 6:45. You count to three and force yourself out of bed and waddle to the bathroom, splashing some cold water on your face and brushing your teeth.
"Meet me in the breakfast room,"

After you finish pulling your suit on and making yourself look somewhat presentable and make your way down to breakfast.
There are gorgeous smelling eggs and toast which, as you sat down opposite Tony, you gave yourself a big helping.
"So Y/N, this is the first of your never ending training days. You will work with the others to develop and enhance your skills, you will be mainly training with Natasha, as your skills are most alike, but please also feel free to pick up some new skills." He says from across the table.

As you go up the many floors of the training block you are amazed at by how many skills you can train in: Durability with Cap- a good one to master no matter your powers, Mind control with Wanda, you remember the name but can't think what she looks like- might give that one a whirl, Strength with Thor- Still undecided whether you should go to this one, Archery with Clint, Medicine with Banner, Defence and acrobatics with Natasha- You must go to this one, and finally, on the top floor your eyes flick to a sign 'Suit flying' You giggle at the completely unintellectual name but presume it must be with Tony.

You pick only two to focus on today as you won't have time for all of them. Defence and durability, starting with durability, this way you might get extra training time for defence.
You return in front of the third floor at 8.
"Ah, Y/N, I wasn't expecting you."
"I thought it would be useful to improve my durability." You answer shrugging.
"Perfect, okay so first we're gonna go for a run."
"In here?" You asked looking around.
"No. Outside of course."

You already lag behind Steve and you've only been running for not even an hour.
"Stop." You pant, hands on your knees.
"Y/N, look out! They're coming in fast." Steve says looking past you and starts running. You check behind, genuine fear in your eyes.
"Hahaha, got you." "But seriously Y/N, if there were people chasing you right now." "You'd be so dead. Hurry up." He says spinning back on his heels and clapped his hands.

You stop two hours later about 3 meters behind steve and hobble over to the nearest bench.
"Weak!" Steve taunts, but you haven't yet caught your breath to be able to slap him.
"Okay, when we get in your gonna get down and give me 50 press-ups." He tells you and you nod, comfortable with this challenge, your legs might be weak but you have pretty decent muscles in your arms.

Back inside you fly through Cap's test getting to 100 even if you slowed down considerably near the end.
"Okay, clearly you have good arm muscles, so let's work on the legs." He whips out a resistance band and stretches it round your legs.
"Hold it and cycle your legs like your on a bike,"
"For how long?" You ask.
"20 seconds after you feel like you can't do any more."
10 minutes later you're finding it hard to carry on but still aren't at the point of failure, you carry on for an extra 3 minutes but your legs start shaking and you can't take it anymore. (Get your mind out of the gutter)
"20 seconds!" You call out, your voice straining. He understands what you mean and starts counting.
"...11, 10, 9..." He calls out over the top of your grunts,
"...4, 3, 2, 1. Times up."
"Ugh," you sigh and flop backwards into the floor.
"Good stuff today Y/N but I'll let you go now, Nat's probably waiting."

"Glad you finally made it." She says manspreading, twiddling a knife in her hands that she'd plucked from her belt.
"Sorry, I was on a two hour run with steve and then he made me do like 100 press-ups and then I had to do some weird cycling thing." You giggle, moving to sit down next to her.
"What've you been doing?" You ask her.
"Practising," She shrugs.
"You okay?" You also her noticing she seems a bit off.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" She asks rhetorically, standing up to put some boxing pads on. You stand up with her and catch the gloves she throws at you and strap them on.
You clamber into the boxing ring and start hitting the pads.
"So, Miss Romanoff." "You gonna tell me why you're acting like this?" You say lightheartedly.
"Like what?" She spits.
"Like that." You respond, feeling quite hurt by the hostile tone. She lets her arms drop to her sides and her face softens.
"I'm sorry," She says weakly.
"To be honest, I don't know why I'm acting like this," "I'm sorry. It's unfair to take it out on you." You walk up to her and hug her tight.
"It's okay, give me the pads." You tell her holding out your hands swapping your gloves.
"Just let it all out."

"Omg you have to show me your suit now, I haven't seen what it does yet." Nat says, her mood completely turned around after a good 45 minutes of punching.
"Okay, okay." "So," You tap your sleeve, the hologram popping up.
"It does that," "and I'm sorry but I kinda nicked your super cool belt idea," You tell her demonstrating your array of knives,
"And also... Punch me."
"What?" She asks confused.
"Just trust me, punch me."
She punches you lightly and you roll your eyes at her.
"Hard, I promise it won't hurt."
"You're sure?"
"Sure sure." You reassure her and she takes a swing.
"Aghhh." You say folding over your stomach clutching it.
"Y/N!?" "What the hell, you said it wouldn't hurt."
"Yeah, I think I was meant to turn the shock absorbers on." You groan, still doubled over.
"You idiot."
"Okay let me turn them on and try."
"No, I'm not punching you again." She tells you grinning at your idiocy. You pull up your hologram and switch the toggle to 'on'.
"Please, please, please." "It's on now." You beg her. And she punches you a second time except this time it feels like a light tap.
"See!" "Isn't it cool!?"
"Very cool." She smiles at you and nods.

You move onto knife throwing with her next and you impress yourself when you only miss the target once, barring in mind the last time you threw a knife you were 18 and just about to leave the red room.
"Nice." Nat praises.
"Thanks, haven't thrown one in a very long time."

You get bored of knife throwing pretty quickly since it's so repetitive and move onto your favourite. The dummies.
"So," "you probably know what to do, but this section you have to incorporate all your skills."
"Like this." She says, sliding under one's legs and stabbing it in the back.
"Got it."
You swiftly 'kill' all nine dummies, swinging your legs round their neck and stabbing them, punching them, swiping them clean off their feet.
Natasha stands back and watched you impressed.
"Okay I think you've proved your point, you're amazing, yeah yeah, we get it." She smirks at you and you give her a bow.
"Come on lets get lunch," you walk out pulling her behind you, she adjusts her grip and catches your hand. You look at her but she keeps her head turned straight forward.

Before you step into the dining room you release her hand. Lunch today is just a simple selection of breads and cheese, nothing like your massive stack of pancakes yesterday. After, you wander round the compound still not knowing where pretty much anything is, other than the lounge your room and the dining room. You chat to Nat and she shows you where everything is.
"And this-" She says as the elevator doors open onto the top floor.
"Is the roof." She states the obvious as you both step out getting half blown away. You sit next to each other on the hard, cold floor, squinting to avoid the wind getting in your eyes.
"It's very windy up here." You shout to her.
"I told you I didn't go on the roof much, it's a bit windier than your apartment." She shouts back.
"It's a bit taller than my apartment to be honest, and there's no sides." "If the wind picks up it would slide us off the edge and then, SPLAT!" You joke and clap your hands imitating the sound.
