Soon spring break came and the family decided to go to Florida and visit Kathrine Bishop. They got up at 3am to get ready and be at the Airport by 5:30am. The girls were beyond excited, because all four of them have never been on a plane. Maya was already regreting it by 3:30.

The morning was pure chaos. They had tryed everything to make the morning easy, but still managed to create chaos. Meena threw a tantrum, because she wanted to wear her blue leggins like Louise and not the red ones she specifically picked out yesterday. Ellie choked on her drink again and spit up over herself. Luckly not that much, and they only had to change, but not bath her. Nina was freaking out, she was scared about flying, but her moms were quite busy and didn't really see it. When Maya found Nina crying in the downstairs bathroom, she was utterly confused. It took some time to calm down the teen get the tripplets ready, get the suitcases closed and then leave the house.
By 5:15 they were in the car. That made Maya freak out. They arrived at the Airport at 6am and went to the front desk. Meena was still fussy and that ment Carina went to check in the family, while Maya calmed the fussy toddler and the nervous teen. Once their bags and the stroller were checked in they moved through security, which was quite the struggle, because Ellie couldn't walk throught the gate. In the end they had her go through with Maya. And then Maya by herself.  Because they had given up the stroller, Maya was carriing Ellie and Carina held Louises and Meenas hands. Nina was silently walking in between the adults carefull not to loose them in the chaos.
They found a few empty seats and sat down. Maya gave the toddlers a snack and offered one to Nina aswell, who shook her head. Carina pulled Nina into a hug. "I know you are scared, but we are with you, okay? We wouldn't do anything dangerous with you or the tripplets. This is save, i promise." She kissed Ninas forehead and held her tightly.

After a while the girls were sitting on the floor to the feet of the adults Nina had Ellie in her lap and read a book to her. Louise was listening to something with her headphones and Meena was drawing. Carina put her head on Mayas shoulder. "It is so hard to believe, that just 8 years ago, we were sitting here, ready to go on our first holiday together and now look at them." "We did a lot in the last few years." "Oh i remember this holiday. The plane ride and the pool and that stupid guy." "I killed the pushups." Maya smiled. "Oh and all the things in our hotelroom. " "And on the planeride back." Carina added and Maya blushed. "Yeah, we can forget about that this time. Nina is terrified and we can not leave our toddlers unsupervised." "No, Bambina. I was just remembering. Not implying." "But you know my mom loves the kids, i am sure she will take them for a few evenings." Maya wispered in Carinas ear. "Oh." Carina smiled mischiviously.

The plane ride was okay. The little girls were very good and easy to occupy. Ellie slept through the entire ride, and was quite grumpy when they woke her up to get off the plane. Nina was really scared at first, and held onto Maya like life depended on it, but after take off and Maya convicing her to watch a movie, she relaxed. They got their bags and the stroller and went out of the airport were Kathrine was already waiting for the family.
"Gamma." Meena yelled and ran up to her. Kathrine hugged her granddaughter and kissed the top of her head. "Oh you have to stop growing so fast." "I am bid." Meena stated. "Yes you are so big." Kathrine huged Carina, Maya and Louise. "I am bid, too. Gamma. I am soo bid. I use bid dirl knife." Kathrine looked at the mothers confused. "We have gotten her a childrens cuttlery set to cook. It looks like a grownup knife, but has some protection features. But it is sharp like a grown ups knife. She is very good at using it carfully." "Ah. That is so cool, Louise. Ellie Bellie. How are you doing." Ellie turned her head away and groand at her grandma. "She slept on the planeride and she was not happy we woke her up." Maya explained. "Its okay. I would be grumpy, too." Kathrine said and let her youngest granddaughter be. Then she hugged Nina. "Hey. You are so big, too." "i've barely grown an inch since fall, but okay. Hi, Grandma." Kathrine smiled. "Well you almost look grown up now." "No. She is far from being grown-up." Carina said and pulled her eldest daughter close. "Okay, Mamma. Whatever you say." Nina smiled. They left to get a taxi to the airbnb they were staying at. It was close to Kathrines apartment, so the could visit eachother, but Kathrines apartment was just not big enough to host all six Deluca-Bishops.

The next few days were really chill. They spent time at the rental house, chilled at the pool and played in the garden. The weather was really warm eventhough it was only March. They often went down to the beach and stayed there for the entire day. They ate icecream and built sand castles. In the evening they had barbecues on most days or food Kathrine, Carina and Louise would cook. Kathrine was beyond impressed at the three-year olds skill and couldn't refraim from mocking Maya. "Seems like the talent passed a generation." she said and laughed. Maya scoffed, but laughed aswell.

It got even more sunny the second week they were there. Carinas birthday was on the 3rd of April, which would be their last full day as their flight back was noon of the 4th. Kathrine and Louise had seceretly baked a cake and Nina had booked a hotelroom for Maya and Carina. They have already had one night to themselves, when all of the kids had a sleepover at Kathrines, but Kathrine and Nina, wanted this to be extra special and so they booked them a fancy hotelroom.

However things didn't go as planed. The sun had been extra strong and both Maya and Carina had been extra carefull that none of their kids got burnt. Nina and Louise had a more southern complexion more like Carina, but they were still carefull. Meena and Ellie however had fair skin like Maya and the parents reaplied sunscreen alot. With being so carefull with her daughters, Maya forgott to be carefull herself and ended up with a quite bad sunburn.

"Maya, your back." Carina stated as she saw the how red Mayas back was already. "What? No but i applied sunscreen." "Maybe you should have worn a t-shirt, like the girls." Carina said. "Ah. Why?" Maya scoffed out, she was more than anoyed. "Its okay. Lets get home, it is late anyway and Kathrine said she'd make dinner." Maya nodded already feeling the effects.

While Maya got the girls showered and dressed, Carina went to the pharmacy and got some things to help sooth Mayas burns. Kathrine had suggested Aloe vera patches. She had her fair share of sunburns, when she first moved to Florida. When Maya was done with her shower Carina put the patches on Mayas back and some on her face aswell. Maya sighed. "That feels good." "That is great to hear. Are you feeling alright other then the burns." "Yes. I am just tired, but i think that was chasing the girls around all day." Carina smiled. Lets have dinner and then maybe a movie night. Maya nodded and followed Carina to the frontyard where Kathrine had already gotten dinner ready.

They ate and cleaned up after themselves and then took the tripplets to bed. Kathrine said good bye and promised to come early to have breakfast with them tomorrow on Carinas birthday.
They snuggled on the couch, although mostly Carina and Nina snuggled together, Maya sat quite ridgit as her back was burning and touch made it worse. They watched "X-Men" and then went to bed. Carina put another aloe patch on Mayas back and face and then pulled her close. "How are you feeling?" She asked. "A little headache and when i get up to fast i am dizzy. Classic sunburn. I am so sorry. I am so stupid." "You are not stupid. You took such good care of our girls. I am sorry you are hurting." "Its okay. I am quite comfortable right now." Maya said. Her head was on Carinas chest. She was laying on her stomach in between Carinas legs. She had no shirt on, because that iritated her skin and Carina caresed her back slightly. "I hope i am not ruining your birthday tomorrow." "I have all my favorite people here, nothing will be ruined." "Okay. I love you. " "I love you, too."  It didn't take them to much time to fall asleep.

An: Anyone else always messing up "Threw" and "Through". I know which one is which, but i mess it up so much. 

Also I loved the last episode, both Greys and Station19. The kiss. Oh my god. I love that Maya comunicated both with Carina and Andy and i am excited for how this plays out. I also loved the Greys episode. That is how you let a Character go. I never love loved Maggie, but she was nice and she got a good send off other then other important characters.... I also love the storyline with Luna. I love it so much, that i just claim it for my story, too. Luna is deaf in this story. I just don't like Jo and Link. They work so well as friends, but lovers??? No. But yeah i am also excited what the next episodes are going to bring. We get Addison next week. Yeah!
