~ Chapter ten ~

Noah pov

after two hours of rehearsal I actually found it fun especially because Blake still had a attitude, he honestly need to give it a rest and get over it, but it was fun messing with him. After practice I honestly think it's hard to stay away from dixie she's so addicting, so I decided to invite her over to my house and thankfully my parents won't be there I don't know what where going to do but I'll figure it out. "hey dix do you want to come to my house to like hangout". "I have homework so if I can do homework at your house then sure". I smiled and I took her hand and we began to walk out. We had stopped at the cafe to get some food and left again. we arrived at my house and I had showed her around a bit because last time she was here it was a pool party. I took her to my room where she could do her homework and I sat on the bed and got on my phone as I waited for her to finish.

20 minutes later I hear her say that she was done and I smiled and put my phone away as she put her homework in her bag. "so what do you want to do, watch a movie? do tiktoks?". "yeah let's watch a movie but I'm hungry". she wined. "marmita you just ate but whatever you want it's in the kitchen". she walked into the kitchen and open the fridge and cabinets. "oh my gosh can we bake a cake pleaseee". "dixie that's not mine but sure nobody was going to bake it anyways". she smiled as she went over the the dishes and got everything she needed.

"hey don't just stand there, you're going to help me". "okay okay what do I do". I said. she told me that I could spray the pan and turn the oven on while she makes the the batter. I than pore the batter into the pan and put it in the oven. "now we wait". she said. I smiled back at her. "what now?". She said. I smirked and I grabbed her and kissed her quick and she kissed back, I began to make out with her after two minutes She pulled away. "the movie". she teased I rolled my eyes and smiled, we walked over the to the couch and watched a movie. About a hour later there was a ding from the stove. "ahh the cake is done". She said hopping out of the couch and running in the kitchen. I followed her and I took the cake out. she started frosting it. she started cutting two pieces of the cake. and put each on one plate. I put the rest of the cake in the fridge. and we went back to the movie as we ate the cake.

20 minutes I then heard the door being opened I looked up it was my parents. I rolled my eyes knowing that they where going to start some bullshit. I paused the movie. then dixie saw his parents. They sat up. "hey noah and Noah's guest". My dad had said. Dixie smiled at them. "what's you're name hun". My mom said. "oh uhm it's dixie". "hm dixie nice name are you guys like dating". my mom asked. "you guys are so obnoxious please leave us alone". "well you invite some random girl to our house and expect us to just go on with our day". my dad said to me. "uhm I think I'm going to go home I realized Jayden is alone". "Jayden? is that you're brother? why would he be alone? you don't have parents?". my mother questioned. "can you stop asking so much questions you're being rude". I rolled my eyes and grabbed Dixie and we went outside of the house. "look I'm sorry for my parents, I think that it is best you get going". "no it's alright later Noah". she started walking away. "hey! no goodbye kiss?". She smiled at me and kissed me. "later Dixie"

. she smiled and began walking away. I walked back into the house and saw my parents talking to each other. I rolled my eyes. "I don't really like her Noah, and you two kissed, what's going on here, what happened to Riley she was better". my mom said. "well mom I don't really care what you think about her, you don't even know her you're so judgmental and you probably just messed everything up with all you're damn questions please just go away!". I said and walked to my room.

dixie pov

everything was actually really cool until his parents came in asking about my personal life I don't think they like me very much. I got home and saw Jayden watching tv. "hey jay". I said. "oh hey dix". he said looking back at the tv. "I knew you're parents where not here they are never here!". I said. "Dixie don't say that they are you're parents to". he said pausing the tv. "yeah I know how was school?". "well you know how I'm in 8th grade and prom and stuff I asked out the girl i like for prom and she said yes". he smiled. "oh my gosh that's amazing!!". I said as I hugged him. "well what do you want to eat for dinner, I don't think our parents will be back any time soon". "can we have spaghetti??". jay said. I smiled and took out the stuff. I wasn't going to cook now it was way to early but I thought it was a good ideas to have everything out.
