I wake up the next morning, hearing snoring next to me. I open my eyes to see Cato sleeping there.
"Get up. First day of training" I tell him.
"No" he grunts, pulling me closer. I give him a kiss on the lips and he returns. The kisses get more and more intense. Suddenly, I pull back.
"Are you awake now?" I ask with a smirk.
"Yes" he says, leaning back in but I stop him with my hand.
"Great. Lets get you to training" I say with a smile.
"Come on Athena" he grunts.
"Nope. Get up" I say, starting to get dressed.
"You're mean" he says annoyed.
"Thank you" I say sarcastically. He gets up, putting his clothes back on.
"Can we continue this sometime?" he asks pulling me closer by my hips.
"Lets see how you behave today" I say laughing.
He nods laughing too, before leaving my room. I finish getting dressed and wait for the time to turn 7:45. I don't want to eat anything. I really don't feel like it.

When I walk out, they're already waiting for me infront of the elevator.
We step inside and the elevator starts going down.
"You know the rules. District one's tributes are going to be your allies. Show them who you are and who they need to be afraid of" Brutus says, and both of them nod. I decide to let him do his thing.
"You can do this" I say with a comforting smile, and they both nod.
Soon the elevator door opens, revealing the training hall. A few other tributes are already there. Cato and Clove walk inside, while Brutus and I make our way over to mentor grandstand. It's quite big and you're able to walk around almost the whole hall. Meaning, you'll have a great eye on your tributes. And of course on all the other tributes too.
A woman steps into the middle of ll the tributes and starts explaining everything to them. I notice Cato staring at Katniss. She looks intimidated by him, and he notices. He looks up at me with a smirk. I nod at him, a slight smirk on my face too. Cato chuckles, before looking back at the lady again. I lean onto the railing, waiting for them to finally start training.

...

It's already afternoon. I've been watching them the whole day now. A few of them are really interesting, and others are simply not. A few of them are very tiny. They have no chance in the arena. I kind of feel sorry for them. I really do need to stop feeling sorry for them all the time. After all, twenty-three are going to be dead in a few weeks.
"What are you looking at?" I hear Brutus say next to me. I look up to see Johanna and Finnick looking at us. I shoot Finnick a quick smile, before looking at the tributes again. I need to watch them pretty closely. I want Cato and Clove to know everything that they need to know. Even the slightest detail could help them in the arena.
District one's tributes are not a threat. They're our allies but again, you never know what happens if their the last ones left. The female looks way too clumsy to know even the slightest about anything. I watched her at the bow station earlier. She can't even shoot properly. For what did she train then her whole life. And why the fuck did they choose her to be here. She's going to be annoying in the arena. They'll have to look after her all the time. Looking out for her, so she doesn't die in the first hour. The boy, he is rather tall. Not very threatining though to Cato. Cato's almost double his size. He's good with a spear though. Really good.
The rest of the distircts are rather uninteresting. Only three other tributes stick out to me. The boy from eleven and both of twelve.
The boy from eleven is tall and massive. He looks very strong and intimidating. He's like Cato. They need to be aware of him. He could easily crush Clove. And for Cato, well, lets hope elven's a bad fighter.
The boy from twelve almost makes me feel sorry again. He doesn't look like he has a lot of skills. He's painting his arm right now. It looks like a real tree. But I doubt painting will give him a advantage in the arena. He doesn't look like he's going to kill them all in one try. He could be strong but nothing more. I doubt he has any knowledge.
Katniss though, she's dangerous. I can tell by the way she moves, by the way she walks. She does has knowledge. I doubt she has no clue with weapons. Something must be her weapon of choice. I just need to find out what.
She looks at Glimmer, who's just at the bow station. Katniss has been looking at the bow for a fet times now. She watches Glimmer, who misses the target by a few inches. A small smirk escapes her lips. Now I know.
Both of them haven't been at any station now that has to do with weaponery. I guess that's Haymitch's tactic. He doesn't want us to know what her strength is. I look behind me, and see him sitting there with a glass of scotch.
I walk over to him and sit down on the chair next to his. We both keep our eyes on the tributes.
"Clever of you" I say.
"What?" he asks.
"Your tactic. For them to not show their skills in training until the scoring. Clever of you" I say.
"Thank you" he says.
"They're easy to see through though" I say.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, it's easy to guess that Katniss has some sort of experience. My guess hunting, and for her weapon, I would say a bow. And for your male tribute, I'd say he's strong"
"Nothing more?" he asks.
"Nope. He doesn't have any weapon. That's why he looks so scared. Katniss though, she isn't really scared, nor is she intimidated by any of the other tributes. Not really"
"You're good" he says.
"Thank you" I say with a smile before getting back up again. I walk over to Finnick, who has a questioning look on his face. Johanna is trying to intimidate me, I can tell by the way she looks at me and how she's standing there.
