Cartoon Multiverse: Scooby Doo AU

For a very late April Fools special, I decided to make some of my favorite cartoon characters outfits on what they would look like if they were the favorite mystery solving team: Scooby Doo and The Mystery Gang, in which the au will mostly take place in the Mystery Incorporated Series. Hope you enjoy 😊

1. Mac as Fred Jones

For Freddy Jones, I let Mac take on the role, since both him and Fred take on the role as leaders and are helpful towards each member of their group.

For Mac, he's known as somewhat, the leader of his group: Mystery Inc. He's known as a straight A student at his school, but has an interest in solving mystery, and constructing ways on how to stop them, with the help of Dipper of course. Mac can sometimes think ahead a little too much and may take actions too early than expected, which can sometimes lead the gang into tough situations. Nevertheless, Mac is still a good leader and friend, levelheaded and will do anything to help out his friends and get them out of a sticky situation. He also has a secret crush on the gang's newest member, Ruby Gloom, and can sometimes get tongue tied when trying to talk to her.

2. Ruby Gloom as Daphne Blake

For Daphne, I decided to give Ruby the role since I kind of ship Daphne and Fred together, and thought that both Daphne and Ruby are cute redheads, who can sometimes act as the voice of reason when need to.

For Ruby, she became the last member to join Mystery Incorporated and is also the new girl at Mac, Mabel and Dipper's school. Like Mac, she's really smart and is one of the most popular girls in school due to her looks and grades. However, Ruby holds an unhealthy past from the precious school she went to before being transferred, and doesn't know how well the others will take it if she were to tell them of her past, so she tries to keep it hidden. Like Mac and the others, she also likes to solve mysteries and find out about the unknown. She also secretly has a crush on Mac.

3. Dipper Pines as Velma (For Velma and Shaggy, I more of see them as a sibling duo than a couple so I placed Dipper as Velma and Mabel as Shaggy, so please don't be mad at me for this.)

For Dipper, I felt that he obviously fit the role of Velma, for his skepticism, brains, and for his ability to solve mysteries from the original show.

Dipper is one of the original founders of Mystery Incorporated, along with Mabel and Waddles. He and Mabel love to solve mysteries and are really close to each other and their friends. Dipper always comes up with a plan to help catch the culprit behind the mask of the monster, and let's Mac take part in constructing the plan, mostly for traps planted for the monster. Dipper and Mabel happen to be childhood friends of Mac, and is also known as one of the bravest members of Mystery Inc., alongside Mac. Like the others, he loves solving mysteries, and usually is the one that helps uncovering them and exploring the unknown.

4. Mabel Pines as Norville "Shaggy" Rogers

For Shaggy, I thought Mabel would be a good fit since like Shaggy, she has an animal companion and is usually goofiest member of her group, alongside her pig, Waddles.

Mabel happens to be funny one of the group, since she likes to joke around and tends to tease her brother sometimes. She's also known as being one of the founders of Mystery Inc. alongside her brother, Dipper, While Mabel likes to solve mysteries, she doesn't really like getting into danger and is usually the first to run away when a monster shows it's head. Waddles and Mabel have a really close bond, alongside Dipper too. Along with being the funny one, she also happens to like eating food too, alongside Waddles, whenever she and Waddles find something to eat, they make no time to waste on eating it. Mabel tends to be the one that lures the monsters over to the traps, thanks to some of her handmade disguises, Ruby also takes part in this sometimes. She also knows of Ruby's secret crush on Mac.

5. Waddles as Scooby Doo

Lastly, we have Waddles, who plays Scooby's role, and is known as the Mascot of Mystery Incorporated, and is Mabel's most lovable companion. While Waddles shares some of the same behavior as Scooby Doo, he doesn't really talk as much as Scooby does.

Waddles was won by Mabel during a county fair game, like in the original Gravity Falls show. Since then, Mabel and Waddles have become close. Like Mabel, he's a really big eater and is usually the first one that runs when seeing a monster. But, when Mabel or one of his friends are in danger, it doesn't take Waddles long to stand up for them and save the day. Waddles can eat almost anything, but more than anything, he loves to eat his favorite snacks: Waddles Apples (which are just apples in different colors.)
