The young woman began to witness the atmosphere around her with some curiosity, trying to see where Deku was coming from. There were only a few people present, including some of her former classmates, some of her teachers and Deku's relatives. However, even on a day as important as his wedding, the boy had this habit of sometimes being a little late. Uraraka understood this, because although he knew the boy had that obsessive hero side, he was always interested in those close to him.

It wasn't a complex or traditional ceremony. It was a simple wedding, a modern and small one like most people. The typical wedding where the bride-to-be had a cloud-white dress, and the groom-to-be came in formal wear that made him stand out like a gentleman. It wasn't a day to be worried about. The sunset showed a beautiful scenery in the environment, while that day there was no high presence of crime in their area.

It was at that moment that the main doors opened, and Uraraka saw him. Deku was wearing a dark suit and a small bow tie that made a nice combination with his suit. His smile was captivating, and when he appeared in the doorway, he made everyone turn to look at him in surprise. His mother was showing tears of joy, seeing that she was going to see her son marry the girl of his dreams.

It was obvious that among everyone there was one person who was delighted by how cute he looked. Uraraka always remarked how beautiful Deku was in any outfit, be it hero or casual. But at that moment, she felt more in love with him. Seeing him looking dashing reminded her of her night in I-Island, a moment she couldn't forget. Though in reality, she wasn't the only one who felt the same way.

Even though Uraraka was at Deku's wedding, she felt sad. Not because she thought she had made the wrong decision in falling in love with him, nor was it because she ruined her dress before entering the venue.

The reason was simple. At that moment she wasn't the bride-to-be, she was just a front row guest.

"You only have one chance Uraraka."

Yes, Deku's wife was going to be a random girl that Deku had met in his college days when he went to study in another state of Japan. Sweet at first glance, friendly and brown-haired, she shared Deku's same optimism, and despite not having a future as a heroine, she ended up enchanted by the dreams and principles that the freckled one had. In those six years that they were studying together, they formed a remarkable love story, and now they were in the last step to form a real family. Marriage.

What happened to Uraraka? She stayed in her home state, fulfilling her main goal for which she had entered the hero course. To help her parents with money. She knew that if she moved to another place, she would be far away from them, and she didn't want them to feel bad because she was dedicated to making her life elsewhere, while they missed her.

Other factors had also played a role. By the time she reached her third year at UA, she knew she couldn't fulfill her dreams if she let love interrupt her thoughts. Of course, that didn't mean she wanted to undo her friendship with Deku, but she needed to think about her future, about her parents. So, she made the biggest sacrifice of her life; she sacrificed and set aside her love for the life she had dreamed of. And it didn't go badly, she had fulfilled her dreams as a professional heroine. She managed to finish her college successfully. She could help her parents financially, she could save people with a smile just like Deku, and she could fulfill one of her principles that she had been proclaiming since she entered the academy: Help the heroes when they needed help.

The only way they had to communicate in those times was by phone and video calls. They weren't that continuous, but they were long when they had the chance to talk. They were honest with each other and talked about their experiences and how much they missed each other. Deku even planned some future plans with her, stressing that Uraraka was someone important in his life. He was telling her that he would be happy to work with her in a hero agency, and that he would love to walk with her again like in the old days. Deku's innocence made Uraraka blush silently and feel like someone special.
