As soon as he finished signing the last police report, he immediately left the place. He activated his quirk instantly and flew away without looking back or worrying about what had happened.

At first glance, one could tell he was in a hurry. He was flying at an incredible speed, much faster than normal, actually. It was as if he had to go on another, more urgent mission than the one he had had a few hours ago. And sure, he had another mission. But it was a more personal one.

The evening sky showed another end of duty for the young hero. After helping in some cases of bodily harm and capturing the respective villains, it was finally time to take a break and rest with his wife in his arms. The way to regain energy was to be by her side, and that was the way it was every night they both returned home.

However, that evening had been something exceptional. Nine months. He knew the day was coming and he needed to be with Uraraka at that moment because it was unique, and it wasn't going to happen twice. He knew it was going to be a memorable day, and he wanted to be with her when it happened. The medical report said that the baby was due in two weeks at the most, on a clear and timely weekend. The boy knew that those days would not intersect with his work, and he was doing his best to take care of her until it was time to deliver.

But when he got the call from his mother that Uraraka was already going to the hospital, he ended up surprised. He didn't expect the birth to be very early, especially when the only call for help that the police asked for that day, she was already in labor pains. She was giving birth a few days earlier than expected. And now, Deku was running to try to catch up with the birth of the future soul of the Midoriya family.

He was flying like there was no tomorrow, still being cautious not to collide with anyone and without causing havoc. Even though he wanted to be with his family, that didn't mean he wasn't worried about the safety of the streets. It took him a few minutes dodging people and respecting traffic signs, until he finally arrived at the hospital marked by his mother. Modern building with lights that matched the beginning of dusk, Deku knew that in there he was about to start a new chapter in his story.

He opened the hospital door, being greeted by Kota at the entrance.

"Deku! You're here!"

"Where's Uraraka? Am I late?"

"She's on the third floor, come follow me."

Both young men started to run lightly through the corridors of the place, avoiding causing any disaster to the doctors and patients around. The illuminated place caused an aura of safety, although the people there were surprised to see the hero in a common place like that one. They thought he was running because someone in his family was injured, or because something had happened to him.

Luckily, they were wrong. There was nothing wrong with the hero, he just wanted to get to his son or daughter in time.

Deku and Kota arrived at the respective floor, with a door showing an insignia of a baby and a woman. It was a special room for women who had had the childbirth operation and needed a special rest. Although Kota told him to calm down because it had been a recent operation, Deku's panic overcame his self-control, and he opened the door almost instantly, making a small thunderous noise from his strength.

There in that hospital bed were his mother and Eri keeping company to a girl he recognized perfectly well even though she had tied up her hair.

"Shhhh!" they both said, "The child is resting."

Midoriya put his hands over his mouth, apologizing to both and walked quietly and carefully inside. The doctor who was keeping them company got out of the room, leaving the family to spend a proper moment alone. Kota and Eri stood to the side of the room, letting Deku approach his girl, who looked tired after all the operation she had.
