Storm lightning and rain fell hard with every step they took. The blizzard was strong, making their hair unravel and their hero costumes were carried away by it. It was a night of heavy storm, the meteorologists had been right in saying that Japan was going to be hit hard by a cyclone in those days, and care needed to be taken when going out.

But despite the danger signs, there were always people who ended up affected by the force of Mother Nature. And that's where the heroes would come in, not to fight villains, but to rescue people who were affected by those incidents. Some had to help people cross rivers, and others had to secure people who had lost their homes to heavy blizzards.

The situation in some areas of Japan had been critical, so other heroes had to be called in from other jurisdictions, and among them, Deku had been called for duty. After a long time away from home, he was finally returning to his home state. He had been away for a good number of months, but thanks to the weather emergency, he had the opportunity to return home and help the people of his area. Fighting the last of All for One nomus had been a big challenge, but he was relieved to see that all his hard work had paid off. When he arrived home from the flight, he was greeted with joy by his friends, teachers, and his mother.

Eveyone, except one person.

Actually, he had not only been away from his friends and his mother. He had also been away from his wife. And he felt that Uraraka wasn't happy about it. Nine months apart, where there wasn't as much communication, and they couldn't coordinate many things together. When she saw him, Deku wasn't greeted with that love and tenderness that characterized the girl. She just walked past him, avoiding talking to him. Deku sensed that she was angry, but he couldn't manage to talk to her. He tried to talk to her privately a few days later, but the incoordination of both parties and the false inferences they made about them made both end up doing something they never thought that could happen. A couple's argument. The first one of their entire lives.

They couldn't communicate well during those days, and on every mission they went out to secure people affected by the storm, they had their minds lost because of that fight. They were unfocused, but especially sad not to be together, missing each other's company. But neither had the will to talk more calmly about what had happened, making a small law of silence between the two. It was like a little pride they both had, not wanting to admit the blame for what had happened in that argument.

Until that storm mission came along. A rescue where after a long time, they were finally doing a job together. Wife and husband, ready for action.

They had been sent on a rescue operation. A group of hikers had been trapped inside a cave and were in need of rescue due to the depth they had fallen. They were fortunate that the radio had not been completely broken, and that alerted the heroes on patrol at that hour. Although the Pussycats had the possibility of going to help, they were attending to another emergency that was occurring at the time. So, they decided to entrust the mission to Deku and Uravity, with all the equipment that Ragdoll would provide.

There was no word between them until they reached the cave. It was a cave of significant depth, with a small cave-in that had sealed off some entrances. They knew they needed to put their differences aside if they wanted to save these people. The tension in both was great, and the storm represented how heavy their situation was.

More than just helping those people, though, Deku knew they needed an urgent conversation. He didn't want to lose Uraraka. He decided to take the first step and approached his hand to his wife's shoulder causing the girl to suddenly turn around.

"You know I've got your back Uraraka. Stay close and you'll be fine."

"I'm pretty good at looking after myself, Deku."
