                                 Felix's POV
"She's right behind me."

"D-don't make me move."

"Why are you scared?"

"I-I haven't seen him in years."

"He's the same person you know."

Pixelle walked to the side of me.

"Oh! Pixelle! You're his mate?"

"H-hi Malcom."

"It's nice to see you again."

"Y-you too. C-can I sleep?"

"In a bit."

She sat down in a chair. We explained everything to him.

"I will have someone bring you to your room."

Dasha came and brought us to a room.

"Woah. T-this is ours?"

"Yes. You can go get ready for bed. It's okay. I'll give you a tour in the morning honey."

"Thank you."

She went over to her back and grabbed clothes. She walked into the bathroom.

"Wow! It's nice in here! I like it!"

I chuckled.

She's too adorable.

She shut the door and I went to put things away.

Did this place get bigger?

Alec: That's what she said.

"I hate you Alec."

Pixelle walked out of the bathroom and I saw, she stole some of my clothes.

"You little shit."

I walked up to her.

"What? I'm comfortable. You said I can wear what I want."

"I know. I know. That's just my favorite shirt. It kinda looks better on you."

"Aww! Thanks! I love you!"

"I love you too."

She started hugging me.

"Yay! You said it back!"

"I love you."

"EHHH! You said it again!"

I chuckled.

"Go get some rest. I'll show you around when you're awake. I'll be back in a bit."

"I'm gonna sleep much better now!"

"That's great. I'm glad. You need a good night's sleep."

She walked to the bed and jumped onto it.

"Oooo! It's so fluffy!!!"

"You gonna be okay on your own for a bit?"

"Mhm!"

"I'll have a female guard watch the door for you."

"Ooo! Okay!"

"Goodnight. I'll join you in a little."

She got under the covers and laid down.

Hopefully...

She'll stay asleep.

We were told to come here.

Something's not right here.

Alec: You're right.

I found a female guard.

"Hey Melly?"

"Oh! Hi! I heard you were back!"

"I need you to guard my bedroom door. My mate is in there sleeping."

"Yes sir."

"Don't let anyone else in."

I wandered back to my father's office. I didn't knock.

"I have questions."

"And I may have some answers."

"Why'd we get located here? I understand that you need me here and it's for her safety. Is that all though?"

"Son..there's a lot you should and shouldn't know. But..I will tell you this one thing. Your brother thinks...something is about to happen. He wanted the both of you safe."

"He's never mentioned it to me."

"He didn't want to send you into a panic. Please get some rest. You seem exhausted. I will answer more questions in the morning."

"Okay. Thank you."

"Rest for as long as you need."

"Thank you. I'll try."

I walked back to my room.

"Thank you. You can go now."

Melly walked away and I opened the bedroom door. I walked up to the bed and checked on Pixelle. She was still sleeping. I went and got ready for bed. I walked over to the bed and laid down next to her.
