Chapter 21

Pixelle's POV
"How about..you take a nice warm bath? We can get all this dirt off you."

"I'll see if there's anything clean for you to wear. Okay?"

She nodded. Felix handed her to me. I started walking to a bathroom. I turned on the water to let it warm up. I started fixing her hair.

"Ow. Ow."

"I am so sorry. I'm almost done."

I finished fixing her hair then helped her take a bath. There was a knock on the bathroom door. I opened it and saw Felix holding some clothes.

"I'm not sure if...they'll fit. I went through some of my old things. I-I'm not sure...she'll even like it."

I took the clothes out of my hands.

"I'm sure...as long as she's comfortable, she won't care."

He walked away and I shut the door. I helped her get dressed.

"It's a bit big on you. Are you at least comfortable?"

"Kinda?"

I started to hold her hand.

"Let's go find Lix. Okay?"

She nodded. We started walking around. We found him talking to Anne.

"Okay. We're back."

He turned around and saw how big the clothes looked on her.

"Uh...uh...crap...I...I'm really sorry."

"She's comfortable. I'll go through my things in the morning to see if I have anything."

"Is this her? Hello Novalia. I'm Anne. I'm the luna and queen of this pack."

"Y-you're a queen?!"

"Yes. I am."

"Wow!"

"Hey uh...Ellie? I have to talk to you about something."

"O-okay."

We walked away from them.

"Tonight...I want you to shift."

"Huh?! Felix...I-I can't do that. I-I'm pretty sure...I lost that ability."

"You don't know that. Please...you'll gain more strength by doing it. Myla has to take over in emergencies. Please.."

"Okay. Okay. I'm really scared."

"It'll be okay. I'll be right there with you. I know...it's scary but...you have to do it."

"I-I don't want to hurt you. I-I'd never forgive myself."

He cupped my face.

"Don't worry about that. I will be okay."

When everyone was sleeping...he brought me to a room.

"I-I'm scared."

"I know. You'll feel better when this is over. Just take a few deep breaths."

I started doing that. I felt my body started to change. I started crying.

"It's okay. You're okay. I'm right here."

I let Myla take complete control.

                           Felix's POV
"Myla? Are you in control?"

She nodded. I walked up to her. She backed away.

"It's okay. It's just me."

I put my hand out.

"I won't hurt you. I promise."

She got closer to me. I crouched down. She tackled me and started licking my face.

"Oh god! Hi! Hi!"

I started laughing.

"See?! You're okay!"

She stopped then sat down. She started wagging her tail. I sat up.

"Do you feel better?"

She nodded.

"See? I told you."

She laid down.

"Tired?"

She started to shift back. I put my sweater on her then picked her up. I started walking to our room. I laid her down on our bed.

"Goodnight my little wolf. I'll see you, when you wake up."
