Makoi's POV:

As I landed on the ground I start to ink around me just for extra cover, like I needed it. I took a glance at the map a few times to see where starboy is inking trying to predict his next move.

If i'm being honest I had no idea he would be this cocky about it, I thought he would just accept it and move on. But then again I like the challenge, and he's really confident for his size. It's honestly cute.

I observed my surroundings and guess who I saw. I see starboy peeking behind a tree charging up his shot. I quickly swam out of his line of fire and started charging up my shot.

I could see the confusion in his face when he saw I wasn't there but he didn't let his guard down. Good, because he was going to need it.

I swam on a platform with a clear shot, my E-liter was still charged..

Caedyn's pov:

No way. I won't believe it. He must have ninja squid. Bastard.

Don't let him get to you, just look for marks in the ink and lines on the scope and you'll be fine.

I calmed down and jumped back into battle At first I didn't know where he was but saw a little spark behind a barrier, was he going for a jump shot? MOVE!

I got out the way and quickly charged up a shot while he was still on top on the wall. No getting away this time.

(starboy has splatted Gotcha, one splat for starboy)

"I thought you said you might be better than me" I hollered at him.

"Don't get too cocky too quickly prettyboy." He scoffed

"Its STARboy, not PRETTYboy." I replied angry.

Prettyboy...who does he think he is taking to me like that. I should get up closer to his base, it takes longer for a E-lighter to charge up then a charger so I could get more shots in than he could.

I started inking up to his base sneaking up slowly..

*Beep beep*

And there he had me exactly where he wanted aswell as my exact pinpointed location. He popped out from the area up high.

"I told you to not get too cocky, but why would I think you would listen to me? Hm?"

His voice was so annoying, it was deep but has a tone to it which made it seem passive aggressive.

"Yeah yeah.." I mumbled

This went on for a long time with me only splatting him at least 6 times, he splatted me almost 24 times.. This is so embarrassing.

But I wouldn't give up, I was tired as shell though. I couldn't hit any flick shots and when I thought I could sneak up on him an inkmine went off. He could almost practically taking deep breaths and panting because of how worn out I was, I wasn't acting like myself. Is he really better than me? No, he can't be?

I was so lost in thought I had a charger up shot and was out in the open not seeing Makoi anywhere.

"So who are we splatting?" I heard a chuckle behind me
