The next morning Erica wakes up to find Linda missing from the bed. Quickly walking out into the living room. There she was with her brother who is about to leave. "Oh morning," William greeted the woman. "Morning Miss Erica," Linda said afterward. "Morning," Erica mutter. "Where are you going this early?" Erica asks. "Where else, back home," William replied.
"Home, but I thought you had guys had school." Erica recalled. " We need to change first before going, the earlier we leave the better," said William. "I see, well then," she mutters again. Still looking sleepy.
William looking at Erica touches his forehead where Erica kisses him last night. He wasn't fully asleep at that time and remember everything Erica said to him last night. Seeing his stare, she asks him what's wrong? In a timid tone, he apologized to Erica for his behavior last night "My emotions get the better of me again," he said.
Erica smiles. "At least you have learned some manners in the last 8 years."
"Thanks again for letting us stay the night," said William.
"See you at school Miss Erica," Linda said before leaving with her brother. Remembering she isn't going back to the school, she forgot to tell Linda that she won't see her at school for a while. So, she wants to use the time to relax and heal her still twisted ankle from yesterday.
It was Friday, the day of Erica's date, she decided to head out to buy a new dress. She was heading to the mall in her car when she saw William coming from a nearby shore. She pulls up in front of him. "William!" calling out for his attention. He turns to see her calling from her car. "What are you doing out here, shouldn't you be in school around this time?" she asks.
"I had something else to do," he said "What can be more important than class right now?" she asks. "My job, I need cash," he said. "So, you are even working during school time?" Erica wonder. "Hey from the look of thing it seems like you are done. Why don't you hang out with me for the rest of the day." Erica suddenly requested.
"For what?" he wonders. "Just a little shopping," Erica said. "Why?" William asks. "Does it matter. Are you going to leave me hanging like this?" Erica opens the car door. William gives in to her request and went with her.
They head to the mall and together went into the fashion store. After trying out some dresses she wore them in front of William, forcing him to pick when seeing that he isn't too interested in, more or less, annoyed. " Which one is the best one of my date?" William decides to go with the red dress with black leather around the hip.
He seems really annoy at all this, but Erica doesn't mind it. After buying the dress, they then decide to grab a bite to eat. "How are thing going?" Erica asks. "Is that the reason why you bring me out, so that you could soften me up to ask that?" William stopping eating the burger Erica brought him. "Did it work?" Erica asks.
"I really don't want to talk about it, but Linda is fine if you are worried about her."
"That is good to hear," Erica replied. "Linda said that you weren't at school of the past few days, did something happen?" William asks. "Are you worry about me?" she teasingly asked William. "Just returning the favor since you were so worried about me," he replied. The two continue to eat.
"So, is the dress for that guy we run into last time," William looks curious. From his question it springs Erica to talk about what happen between her and Brian at one time. "Seriously," William looks shock.
"He didn't mean to upload it." Erica reinsures. "But the fact that you forgave him and decide to go out with him. Are you really that stupid or just desperate for a man?"
"If you are nearing your thirties, single and haven't had one single successful relationship, then you too would desperately crave for one," Erica yelled.
