Over that boundary for you

Chapter 14: Tori

"Tori it's you," William is surprised seeing the girl. Erica recognized the girl as well. She's the girl William was talking to in the library that one time. The girl he got into a fight with when he helped her. She also turns to see Miss Erica with him as well. It's a surprise to see you two here like this," she said. 

William and Erica worried a little hoping that she doesn't figure out what is going on between the two. Then suddenly another person from inside the shop asked Tori if they have costumers. She replied to the boy telling him yes. 

The blonde boy with blue eyes a bit taller than Tori makes his appearance wearing the shop outfit. The boy was about to tell Tori to take their order until he saw Miss Erica.   

 Erica after taking a good long look at the boy she recognizes him and call out his name is aww. "Michael!" she said. Hearing the woman call his name he then remembers that the woman is really is Miss Erica. 

"No way, Miss Erica, it really is you," he spurted. "You know him?" William asks. "Don't you remember Michael from middle school," she asks. William then immediately remembered the guy now. He was the person William beat up back during the group task causing him to lose a tooth. William evaded his eyes aways from the guy. He then looked over to William and recognizes him as well. Asking If that really is him. 

William can tell that Michael still hold a grudge against him after what happen with them in middle school just by his disgust expression. William don't blame him anyway; he was a mess back then and he is still now so apologizing to him won't be enough. 

That is how he feels anyway. The two of them are just standing awkwardly, Erica notice even after what happen between those two there is still bad blood between them. "Hey, are we going to order?" Linda asks as she pull on her brother hand. 

"So, you two have a kid, well that didn't surprise since the both of  you were always together in middle school," Michael assume.  

"Get your head out of the clouds would you," Erica said. "And she is my little sister," William correct him.  "Do you two know each other?" Michael asked his sister.  Tori then explain to her brother what happen. "Yes, we go to the same high school, he is the one I told you about. 

The guy that helps me with those scums that night," she said. "Seriously, I always thought that your only care about yourself," Michael said looking at William with a stunt expression. "How many time do I have to tell you; William isn't a bad person" Erica said. "Defending him as always," Michael put is words bluntly. 

"Enough they are customers, we don't want to disappoint mom after she put us in charge for the place while she is sick right," Tori said to her scorn face brother. "Your family run this shop?" Erica asks. "So, are you guys are related?" William asks. "Twins actually," Tori replied. 

"Now that I take a closer look, you two do look alike," Erica said after taking a closer look at them. "Weird I never knew you have a twin sister," Erica is bewiled. Michael then explains that their parents' divorce a long time ago even before middle school. Tori went with mom while he stays with his dad. 

That would explain why no one at school knows that he has a twin sister since she didn't live with them. "I come here every now and then to help mom and Tori out with the shop."

"I see," Erica said. "So anyway, what can I get you?" Tori ready to takes their order.  "Oh... sorry of keeping you waiting Linda, you can order now," William apologize to her frowning face. Linda then makes her order, a special Sundays order, a giant bowl of ice cream with three different favor, vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. 

Chocolate syrup spread over it with sprinkles and crumble up chocolate chip cookies. With peanut as well. "Are you sure you can finish this on your own?" Erica asks Linda after they went to sit at the nearby table. 

"No, that why I want you two to help me finish it," she kindly said. "Ok then." Erica and William agree and so they all ate the ice cream together. "Looking at them seriously now, they really do look like a happy couple with their child," Michael said. 

"Don't you think Miss Erica look too old to have a child with someone so young?" Tori asks. "If you seem them back in middle school you would understand," Michael said. Tori looks at them and see how they act around each other, now knowing what her brother meant by it.

Looking more like a couple than a mother taking out her children of a treat. The next day at school, when it was lunch break, William quickly eat his lunch and then head off to the library to get so studying done. 

Tori was also there when she saw William coming inside. Remembering the talk with her brother about William. "You two were close back in middle school, right?" she asks her brother the day William and Erica came to their shop. It was after they left. 

"Remember when I went to the hospital with a busted-up face? that was his doing," said Michael. "Tori, I am grateful that he helped you but stay away from him, he is short temper and violent," he said to his sister with a serious tone. 

She waited until William got closer to her. "Hi William!" she greets him gently. "Oh hey... thanks for Sunday, Linda really like it," he said kindly. "No problem please come back anytime of more," she said. 

After taking a seat next to her. William sits quietly after taking out his notes to review. Tori sitting next to him feels weird awkward with the silent between them. The last time she was able to talk to him casually, but after that day when he came to her shop with Miss Erica and the way they were acting. 

She couldn't help but to feel differently around him considering her own feeling. She quickly come up with something to break the silent. "I know you are studying now but I want to make this quick, thank again for helping me that night. I mean fighting off those guys who were hitting on me," Tori said. "I told you it alright," William said. 

"Yes, I just want to make sure." Tori looks at William face and notices that his face is a little pale. Tori asks him about it. 

"Are you alright?" Tori asks. "I am fine just haven't had enough sleep, final exams are coming up, so I stay up late at night to study, not to mention all the homework and assignment I miss out on because of my part time jobs. But I am still holding on," he said. "But don't you think you are pushing yourself a bit too hard?" Tori wonders. "It's fine, I can handle it" William replied.

Tori suddenly grabs William's hand. "Hey, what are you doing?" he asks. Tori squeezes his palm. "Your body is building up a lot of stress, just resting and taking it easy won't be enough to fix it. Listen there is a spa that I know of. It is really great spa, it can definitely help you out," Tori said. 

"Sorry but I will pass," William said. The school bell begins to ring afterward, and class is about to begin. To not be late William parted way with Tori. 

As William make his way to class he ran into Erica and Dante in the hallways. There were just standing there and talking, they were talking softly, so William could not here what they were talking about. He hid behind around the corner to watch them. They were laughing, Erica in a playful manner even shove his chest as their laugh become louder.  

Continuing to watch them from the corner, the two suddenly begin hugging each other. Not only that but they were bracing up on the lockers as well. That wasn't just some normal hug, William thought. They were hugging for at least a 10 second, they stop right as they heard some student coming around from the other end. 

William insisted on going to class he went the other way. As he march down the hallway feeling angry, he suddenly ran into Tori who was just heading to class. She spot him coming down the hall. "William, I thought you went to class already what are you doing down here?" she asks. He stares at her for a while before asking. 

"You remember about the spa you were telling me about earlier in the library?"

"Yes," Tori answer. "Well, I change my mind, tell me where it is." 

"Yes, sure it on Bradly Street Plaza number 3, it is called "fantasy spa" Tori said. "If you don't mind, I could take you there this weekend if you like?" Tori said.  William after hearing her words suddenly his mind flash back to the moment with Erica and Dante. 

"Would Sunday be alright for you?" William asks. "Yes, Sunday will do just fine," Tori happily respond. "Let's exchange number, I will text you where to meet up. Right after they exchange numbers, Tori went to  class. Willam then turned around to run into Erica standing not too far from him. They lock eyes with each other before one gives the other a frown expression.
