Over that boundary for you

Chapter 17: Confession

"Should we wait a while?" Linda asked the frozen-up Erica after witnessing Tori confession. "No, don't worry we are done," Tori replied to Linda with a little smile. William looks at Erica, but she slightly looks away when he did. "Tori I never knew that you were still here, no wonder I didn't see you at school today," Erica said. "Sorry, but I was too worried about William, so I decide to stay," she replied. 

"William can take care of himself he is not some little kid," said Erica. "If so, why are you here?" Tori asks. "Because it my duty as his teacher to look after their student," she replied. "Is that so, there isn't anything else to it?" Tori asked looking a bit suspicious at Erica. "What are you getting at?" Erica softly asked. "Hey, you guys if you are done can we leave now," William suggested. "Ok come on let hurry I have to get back to the school," Erica said. 

After William grabs his things, Erica signs William out of the hospital. "What are you planning to do now, you are not planning to go back to school in your condition right?" Tori asks. "The doc said I need to rest even after leaving the hospital, so that is what I am going to do," William said. "So, you are heading home for the day?" Tori asked. 

"William you can rest at my apartment.  "What! why?" Tori is a little shock at her sudden requested. "Because it would be bad if you father shows up there in your condition. He is still coming by isn't he." 

Taking a breath deep he answers. 'Yea, I guess you are right." 

Erica drops off William at her apartment, she gives him the keys and tell him to get some rest before she and Tori they drove away.  

"Is it alright for you to let him in your home like that?" Tori asks. "There is no problem, it not the first time he been in at my place." 

"What! he has been at your apartment before?" Tori is surprises. 

"It nothing forget it," Erica said to Tori before focusing on the road. But deep in her mind Erica know that she didn't have any other choice. William home is too unstable, and he had nowhere else to go. Erica can tell that Tori is catching on to their relationship. But this was the only way to make sure that William can recover soon. 

After school Erica when home. "I am back," she said as she enters her apartment. "Hey," William said sitting at the table studying. "Why are you studying, I told you to get some rest." She looks at him with a bit of anger. "I did, I am using this time on studying, final exams are around the corner you know," William said. 

"But still, I don't like it when you push yourself like this," Erica shows concern before going over to the fridge to restock it. When she opens it, she saw that the food in the fridge is untouched.

"William, you didn't eat anything either?" Erica asks. "I didn't want to touch you stuff without permission," William said. "Seriously kid, fine I will cook up something," Erica said before looking around room a bit. 

"Where is Linda?" Erica asks afterward. "Oh, she said that she didn't get enough sleep last night because she was too worried about me, so she went to bed early," William replied. Erica took off her jacket and roll up her sleeves to start preparing to cook. "So, what would you like?" Erica asked. Anything you are capable of doing," William replied.

"You make it sound like I am not able to do that much when it comes to cooking," e
Erica feel a little offended. She scorns at William who is looking in the other direction.  "Well, it's not like you cook often, you mostly just order take out, keep eating like that and you will get fat," William jokingly said. 

"Shut up jerk! why did I bother asking you?  I am going to cook whatever I want, and you are going to like it," Erica declares. 

They both didn't realize it until now, but this is the first time they can talk normally since the misunderstanding. It like whatever was making them so distance from each other in the first place didn't matter at all right now.
