neteyam's pov: 

I had stayed up all night thinking about how nice it would be to finally go back home to the forest, even just for a trip. I couldn't wait for all my friends to finally meet aonung! I sat with my feet in the water thinking about how fun it'll be for nungie to meet everyone. 

Aonung had stayed the night to help with tukie, tuk wasn't sleeping, and for some reason he's the only one who can make her sleep besides mother, and she's out with father on date night. 

"Hm neteyam? what are you doing up!" tuk said quietly with a squeaky tone getting off her mat to sit by me, "shh, tuk aonung's sleeping." I replied. tuk came and sat on my lap, "neteyam do you love aonung?" tuk said while looking into my eyes seriously, I let out a little giggle "yes tuk, yes I do.", "so he's like my other brother now?!" As soon as tuk said that I got lost in my thoughts... I love aonung, and aonung loves me but what will our future be like? WILL there be a future?  All I could do was giggle as a response. 

aonung's pov: 

I knew how excited neteyam would be about the trip to the forest, I don't really want to say anything but I'm lowkey nervous to meet his friends and grandmother...   

I woke up to neteyam and tuk giggling, "oh my Eywa! I'm so sorry for waking you up nung" neteyam said, "it's fine" I said while rubbing my eyes smiling. I started walking over to them and sat next to neteyam placing my head on his shoulder.

"Teyam," I say looking into his eyes lovingly "we should probably start going." I chuckled softly. As soon as tuk heard me tell neteyam we should go she bounced onto her feet singing 'were going to the forest!' over and over again.

I pulled neteyam of out the pod and hid around the corner of it. I started kissing neteyam lovingly lost in the moment, until he pulled away "aonung?..." neteyam said sounding worried "yeah?" I replied looking him into his eyes trying to keep a straight face what the fuck is he going to say?  "Do you- could we-" neteyam said seeming stressed "what about our future?" he said looking down "what about it?" I replied "I don't know... just forget it" neteyam said with his eyes slowly fulling up with tears. i pulled him back to me by his arm "neteyam.. I want a future with you... I want you to be apart of my life... forever" I giggle. neteyam came upto me again and gave me a kiss on the cheek giving me these agreeing loving eyes, sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky with neteyam.   

"come on lovebirds!" tuk yelled at us smiling "we have to go!", I picked up tuk smiling getting onto neteyam's Ikran still holding tuk "are you guys ready?" neteyam asked while holding my hand "yes, yes!" tuk said.

THREE DAYS LATER:

three days of traveling... and we made it, we finally make it. I got off the Ikran with tuk asleep in my arms asleep. I gave tuk a kiss on her cheek "were here tuk" I whispered, tuk jumped out of my hands and ran upto who i think is her grandmother and gave her a huge hug.

I stood behind neteyam nervously "are you sure they're going to like me?", "yes you skxawng! no backing out now" he said chuckling softly. 

the following night:

today went better then I ever could have imagined, I think the clan likes me and neteyams grandmother definitely does! Neteyam pulled my arm from the bed thingy underneath me (I have no clue what they're called) "aonung! follow me" neteyam whispered. I got up and started walking towards this beautiful place catching upto neteyam "they call it 'Vitraya Ramunong' tree of souls" neteyam chuckles softly. I stood there confused why was he telling me this? I already know about the tree of souls... neteyam turned and looked at me giving me this eye signal while slightly tilting his head, I knew what was going on... and I was all for it...

Neteyam grabbed his braid me doing the same just a few seconds behind him. I couldn't think of anything I wanted more... but this was going too fast. I looked into his eyes immediately getting lost in his eyes, listing to my heart I moved my braid closer to neteyam's, them eventually joining. it was at this moment I knew I had done it... it was me and neteyam against the world.  

Love? If you asked me about love two years ago, I would have told you it was pointless. That's until I met him. All it takes is one person to completely change your perspective on something you felt so strongly about.

Hey everyone! Let's act like this didn't take like 2 months... But yay, happy ending!! I couldn't be bothered writing about Aonung's introduction to the Omaticaya clan, but just so you know, everyone liked Aonung and he got along with almost the whole clan! Aonung spent the whole day with Mo'at, making dinner for the clan, showing Aonung how to hunt as a forest navi, singing together, and making clothes! Long story short, they got along and Mo'at really liked Aonung! I can't believe how far I've come! And I couldn't be where I am now without all of you. It sucks to say that this story is coming to an end because this story has a special place in my heart, but thank you all so much for all the support you've all given me along the way. I love every one of you more than you could imagine.
