"Why did you follow us?" Luna growls as she wrings her sopping her out. Her dress sticks to her body like glue as she trudges further from the water. 💙 "Luna, I didn't know." "You never know." Selene watches her daughter hang her head in defeat before taking a deep breath and collecting herself. "It's never your fault, is it?" Luna uses her fire to warm up her core, ultimately heating her dress so the water evaporates. Steam rolls of her body in waves before her dress is back to the way it was before. Shiny and elegant.

Leila smirks as she ignores Luna completely and looks at Torino. 🩵 "Hello~ My name is Leila. What's your name?" She holds out her hand to the man who shakes it in return. "Sorahiko Torino," He answers, sounding quite lively to the teen. 🩵 "Sorahiko Torino? Are you the hero Gran Torino?" The man nods, exciting the young woman as she continues asking questions that turn personal. 🩵 "I'll be here in Japan for a while. We should go out for drinks sometime." 🧡 "Seriously Leila? Can't you leave the poor man alone?" 🩵 "What are you talking about, Haru?" 💛 "You're just trying to get in the man's pants. Leave him alone." Luna snickers to herself, happy that her brothers are sticking up for her. They could tell Leila's senseless flirting was making Luna uncomfortable. So they decided to embarrass her a little, bring her back down to Earth.

💙 "That's enough, children." Selene sighs before refocusing on her youngest daughter. 💙 "Luna, why don't you move to Tokyo with us?" "What?! No! You can't take Lea with you!" Toshinori cries out as he runs to Luna's side but ends up face-planting into the sand. Haru and Hinata laugh but groan as their younger sister punches them in the arm. "Don't laugh at my friend." Luna approaches Toshi and leans down before gently rubbing his shoulder. "Are you okay, bud?" "I'm fine."

💙 "Luna? What's your answer?" Said girl scoffs as she helps her friend stand up. "Why now? Because you found out I'm being abused? That's nothing new, Selene. I'm sure you've seen the headlines, just like I've seen yours." 💙 "Luna-" "Do not call me that! You have no right to come here and act like you care! To act like I mean something to you when you're never here... I don't need you anymore. And I don't want you in my life." 💙 "I'm sorry, my little jewel. I hated looking into your eyes, because I saw the love your father and I shared. The love we put into our home and family, and I couldn't stand it. I couldn't look at my baby girl and not see my husband staring back." "Don't you dare try and blame this on me." 💙 "I'm not-" "You are! I'm not him, and I'm not you! I am Luna Eclipsis Aeliana, Lea for short, and I am an amazing girl who deserves to be loved and cherished! And I will never treat my children the way you treated me! I will love them, even if my relationship is nonexistent, even if they look like my ex lover who hurt me, even if they remind me of something I no longer have! I will always love them, just to prove you and Haruto wrong!" Luna pulls up the ends of her dress before bolting away from the beach, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Lea!" Toshi and her brothers quickly follow, not wanting her to get hurt or into trouble.

"Selene," Nana calls softly as she approaches her old friend. 💙 "Shimura? I didn't even notice you there. What are you doing here?" "I've been training Lea. She preferred Torino and I over Haruto." 💙 "I can't believe he's been abusing my little Luna." Selene sobs into her palms, shoulders shaking as she recalls all the times she visited her daughter. 💙 "It's all my fault." Every year, Luna would be different. She became more distant and quiet. It got to the point she wouldn't even show up for the dinners because it was too overwhelming for her. "Selene, you made a mistake. It doesn't mean you can't fix it." 🩵 "Why fix something that's broken? Luna hasn't tried to rebuild a relationship with us either." "She's 17, almost 18. You really expect her to put in all the effort? You're both the adults—Act like it." Torino glares at the duo before leaving the beach, not wanting to be disrespectful, but also wanting an excuse to check on Luna.
