"Daddy, can I ask you something?"
"Yes darling, what is it?"
"When are we going to visit Mommy po? I miss her so much po eh"
"Soon darling, soon."
"Soon? But you already told me that many times na po. Pero hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin po natin binibisita si Mommy." *starts to cry*
*hugged her and caressed her back*
"Sorry darling, please don't cry. I know how much you missed your Mom because I do. It's just that I can't risk your safety just to make you see your Mom. But I guarantee you darling, when everything's okay, we'll visit your Mom."
"B-but I've waited for s-several years already po. I can't remember when was the time I saw her face po. I-I can't even remember what Mommy looks like po." *subbing* "Please Dad, can we visit her now?"
"Baby, I told you soon."
"Daddy please, kahit saglit lang po. Please." *slowly bowed her head*
"Fine, we'll visit your Mom."
"D-Daddy," *lifted her head and starts to cry again*
"We'll visit your Mom tomorrow after your school, okay? So stop crying, okay?"
"Y-Yes, Daddy. T-Thank you so much po, Daddy." *subbing*
*at the school gate*
"Hi Daddy!" *excitedly greeted me and approach me with a hug*
"Hello, darling. How's your day? And how's my baby, hmm?"
"Ayos lang po Daddy. And I'm fine, too. Medyo excited lang po hehehe,"
'But I'm not, baby because I don't want to see you hurt' *in mind*
"That's good. Let's go." *held her hand and help her to hopped in the car*
*while in the car*
"Dad, do you think Mom will like this?"
"What is it, darling?"
"A gift for Mom." *show it to me* *took a quick glance*
"She will, darling." *fake smile*
"I can't wait to see Mom's reaction, Dad." *she said then giggles*
'I hope that smiles of yours won't be affected by what you may see later, darling.' *in mind*
*after 1 hour*
"We're here."
"Is this where Mommy is, Daddy?" *pointing at the building in front of her*
*I nodded then smiled nervously*
"Daddy, Mom's second home is so huge and... high.? Is this for real, Daddy?" *go near me and hold my hand*
"Yes, darling. This is Mommy's second home. Don't worry. Mommy's room is not that high so don't be afraid, okay?"
"Okay, Daddy." *tighten her hold*
*at the front desk*
"Mr. Martinez, you're here again." -Mrs. Santos, M. D.-
