*Before Terge was infected.*
Terge was on his way to the city incase there were any other survivors, safe rooms or anything that could help him in his journey to the military to find his missing friend.
Little did he know, while he was searching inside a building, a Smoker was on the roof of another building just outside of the window inside the room he was searching in.
As he got up and looked at the window, it was too late.
The Smoker wrapped his tongue around his neck, dragging him out of the window, slowly choking him to death.
As he looked down, there was hundreds and hundreds of common infected just beneath him.
He knew that if he cuts off it's tongue, he would fall to his death.
So, instead.
He lets the Smoker strangle him to death, not even fighting back.
He slowly loses his consciousness as he was strangled, everything around him going dark, his ears ring loudly, as his body goes limp.
The Smoker notices and drops him, making him fall into the horde of infected.
He looked at the sky, before getting eaten alive.
