The Golden Guard's POV :

This was not good. Not at all. I have no idea what had grabbed Y/n, but something weird had happened. And by weird, I mean, she had started glowing blue. Which was definitely not a good thing.

The light was blinding, so I looked away, covering my face with my arm. After a minute, the light died down, and Y/n stood there, facing away from me.

"Y/n?" I asked. Wait- had she even told me her name? I don't remember- if not, then how am I going to explain how I know it? I can't tell her I've been stalking her-

Y/n turned, her eyes glowing in a weird magenta-color- like mine, but more anime. She grinned.

"Oh, hello," she said in a voice that wasn't her own. It was slightly more high-pitched, and her grin was unnaturally wide. "You're Phillip's current grimwalker, aren't you?" she giggled, "how funny. Honestly, I think he makes those things just to kill them- but moving on~!" Y/n clapped her hands together, "You look fun~! Wanna play?"

I gave her a confused look. This definitely wasn't Y/n. Not a chance. I wasn't sure who this was, or what they were talking about, but I needed to get Y/n back.

"Who are you?" I made my voice sound stern and commanding, hoping that- whoever this was- would answer.

"Oh, just someone~!" the person giggled.

"Who, specifically?"

"You'll find out soon- for now, I need this 'Y/n' person for something, okay?" they patted me on the head, and I glared.

"Give. Her. Back." I growled.

"Hm... nope!" they giggled again, then walked over to the giant worm carcass, "Augh, this has been getting in the way... I wonder why Phillip hasn't disposed of it yet..." they sighed and snapped their fingers, and the worm carcass glowed purple and disappeared. My eyes widened.

They turned back to me, "soo- you want your little 'Y/n' back, huh?" they tapped their chin, thinking for a minute, then snapping their fingers. "How about this- we play a game! If I win, I get to keep Y/n, and if you win, you can have her back~!" they suggested.

I thought it over, realizing I didn't have much of a choice. "Okay," I said, "deal."

"Perfect!" they clapped their hands, grinning, then snapped their fingers, and the whole room changed.

Y/n's POV :

Of course I got possessed by some weird-ass-god-thing. Ooooof cooooouuuurseeee. This kind of sucks. The Golden Guard would probably just leave me here, and I'd be stuck in my own head for the rest of my life. Ew.

As far as I knew, I was sitting in darkness. Who knew my own mind was so boring?

Well, that was, until I saw a small, purple-ish-blue light. I stood up and walked towards it, wondering what it was.

As I walked, I didn't seem to be getting any closer to it, which frustrated me. I kept walking, still trying to get closer to the stupid ball of light.

After a while, I gave up, and suddenly, I heard a voice.

"Give. Her. Back." it was Goldie's voice. Was he actually trying to get me back? I wasn't expecting that. But why? Why did he care? He could just continue trying to find a way out, and leave me. So why didn't he?

Whatever. I was sure he would just give up and leave me here in the end, anyway.

So why not explore my mindscape? It might be cool here. Or maybe not, but whatever. I was already bored, so I might as well do something.
