Arthur loves merlins gold eyes

One of Arthur's favorite things about merlin is his eyes when using magic.
He thinks they look like star light. He remember the first time merlin had told him he had magic and Arthur had to tell him he always knew.
It had been a cold winter. So cold the two boys were both under Arthur's royal covers. He remembered merlin whispering that he wished he could warm it up.
"What do you mean you wish?" Arthur had said and merlin froze
"J-just that it's cold..." he said back and Arthur remembered wanting to just tell him to do it already
"Then do it" he said and merlin looked shocked
"Oh um I don't. We don't have any fire wood" he said softly making Arthur laugh
"Do you know your eyes shine like star light when you use magic?" He finally said because merlin was driving him crazy and he was too cold to stay in denial.
"W-what" merlin said and Arthur rolled his eyes explaining he had seen his eyes shimmer before in battle.
"So hurry up so I'm not dying from the cold" he said after and nervously merlin closed his eyes.
When he opened them they were shinning that gold Arthur swore they shined like the night sky.
"Slycuuro alturso" he said and heat filled the room. Arthur shivered at the sudden change but happily layed down.
"Finally" he said and heard a little laugh next to him. When he looked at merlin, he couldn't help blushing.
"Why did you never tell me you knew?" Merlin asked and Arthur smiled back
"Why did you never tell me you had magic?" He said back pulling merlin into his arms
"I didn't want to lose you or what we have" he said and Arthur couldn't stop himself from kissing merlin.
"I can't live without you. You should see the castle when your gone. I think some of our maids quit that day" he said and merlin laughed.
"True. You like to run right into danger" he said snuggling closer.
Looking back at the things he and merlin had been through Arthur smiled as he got dressed.
It was their wedding day. He had thought about that moment all night. He is so excited to marry that man.
As he walked out he looked up and saw exactly what he loved those beautiful shimmering gold eyes.
Arthur wondered what he was using magic on but then he looked up and saw he had hung all the beautiful flowers in a path
"Do you merlin emerys promise to protect and serve camilot but also stay with, love and care for king Arthur tell death do you part" the man asked and merlin smiled
"I do"
"Do you prince Arthur pro-" Arthur being impatient spoke up
"I do" he said making merlin and some of the others laugh
"Then you may kiss the groom" he said and Arthur kissed merlin holding him close.
"Long live the kings." Leon yelled and everyone joined in
They all chanted it and Arthur pulled back to smile at the others.
That night they would party and Arthur would take merlin back to his room and show him just how much he loved this man.
