"W..what should I do n..now? He left. My Sakha babu left." she sobbed while hiccuping in between.
Her world has left her. She was broken from inside. At Ship port:
There was a huge crowd of all the passengers. All the passengers were going from one place to another with their luggage. There was an uproar.
But even in this crowd there was a traveler who was completely alone. Immersed in loneliness, the traveler had no inkling of the commotion happening around him.
And how would he be aware. He was leaving his heart and the peace of his heart at that lonely place. There was a movement in his mind, there was fear, there was restlessness.
Will she be able to handle herself at that lonely place? Will Maiden be able to take care of her properly? If there is any problem somewhere? Who will take care of her?And so many unknowingly countless questions were going on in his mind which were troubling him even more.
"All passengers are requested to take care of their luggage. Voyage ship going to India at port number 3 is all set for departure " the final call of speaker announced seeking the attention of Anirudh. He got alerted and started taking steps towards the ship.
While moving forward his step halted when a paper plane landed just infront of his foot. He leaned down a little bit and picked it up. While investigating around him he found that some kids were playing with it.
"Hey, It's mine. Give it back to me" an English boy said to him to which Anirudh nodded and forwarded that plane to the boy. But while forwarding the paper plane his eyes landed on an article which had a title "PLEASE DON'T LEAVE HER ALONE".
It was just a title of an article or maybe a poem, but it did hit him hard. Is this a sign from goddess Dugga? Should he go or not? There was a dilemma between his heart and his mind.
"This is the last call for all the passengers who are willing to go for India". It alerted him and he immediately came out from his trance. He should hurry. Hastening his steps he finally boarded the ship. Finally, he sighed in relief. But did he really find relief? Leaving her alone? The answer was No.
Controlling his thoughts he marched towards the lavish hall area in that ship. Made up of teak wood and lavish embroidery, that ship was all set for higher class passengers. He was staring here and there when a voice dragged his attention "Excuse...Excuse me mister".
He turned around and found a bald, aged British man who seemed very tensed. "Yes?" mumbled Anirudh, wondering what this unknown face has to deal with him.
"Hav..have you seen my wife? She..she is very young a..and..I mean younger than me. She has gone missing. I left her alone for a while but now I can't find her anywhere. She..she was wearing red gown." Asked that man while sweating and huffing.
Anirudh just shook his head in negation and thought of his own condition. That man just huffed in disappointment and left while mumbling "I SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT HER ALONE".
This is a sign. This has to be a sign. He knew it. His Bondita's Dugga maa do not want him to leave. And so he will not. He concluded. "Sir, May I help you?" asked a helper to which Anirudh replied smilingly "I don't want to go".
"W..what? But Sir, the Ship is about to...." but the poor helper didn't got any attention from Anirudh as he has already left the place.
At the main gate the guards blocked his way. "Hey Man, What do you think ,where are you going?". One of them asked him ,confused .
"Ok. I have really very important things to do. So please let me go" he tried to convince them. But seemed like things were not in his favour as one of them denied him straight away "I am sorry sir, but now you cannot get off this ship. This ship is about to start in a few minutes".
