"I can't believe my little baby is all grown up and off to college." Mother cooed.

"Mother, please." I say putting on my glasses.

I straighten my tie. It's been ten years. Ten years without him running my life. I've gotten into wearing suites in high school. I like them, for some reason. I packed Mother's gift, the radio. I couldn't leave it behind.  I drag my suitcase out.

Mother walked into the car. I sat in the front beside you.

"I'm proud of you, Alastor." Mother said.

I turn to her.

"You've become a great man and I know you will be in a happy relationship." She said.

Silence fell. She looked down. Her eyes turn dark.

"I'll miss you." I say.

She turned to me and smiled.

"I'll miss you to, sweetheart." Mother said smiling.

We arrive at the college. I take my suitcase.

"I love you, Alastor." She said.

"I love you to." I smile.
