"Wow you really are good, man I can't seem to win." Howey complains after I've beaten him a good 5 times in a row, and we've only spared 4 times.

"Hehe, I did have a lot of training from one of the sins, what'd you expect?"

"And she is Hendrickson's daughter after all." Gil points out.

"What kind of training did he make you go through anyways?" Howey gets up and rubs his neck, stretching his arm.

"Well, it took me several years before I was able to beat him in a fight and afterwards-"

"You beat King in a fight!?" Howey and Gil both widen their eyes and shout.

"Yeah, I learned his moves and he basically taught me how to beat him." I shrug. "Although there is still a chance, he would let me win and he more than likely has moves I've never seen." Howey sighs.

"Let's take a break." Howey rubs the back of his neck.

"That's fine, I have to get back to work soon anyways." Gil picks up his blade and sheaths it.

"Alright, cya man." Howey waves him goodbye.

"Bye, bye, Gil!" I smile happily.

"So, you've worked in a lot of taverns?"

"Yeah."

"How many times have you gotten drunk on the job?" He starts laughing.

"Never, I've never had ale." He stops laughing and pauses, staring at me.

"Whoa, really?"

"You do remember I'm about two years younger than you guys, right?"

"Yeah, but we gotta change that." I roll my eyes at him.

"Yeah, and let my da- Hendrickson kill us? No thank you."

"You're an adult, aren't you? And if we drank a little now then we should be able to sober up by the time he gets off." He smiles at me and starts walking, I sigh and follow him to the town's tavern.

I guess by a little he meant three full bottles of Vanya Ale, we ended up back where we started in an open area we used to play in when we were kids. We're laying on the grass, he's watching the clouds or stars? Whichever ones out right now. And I'm watching the flowers dance in the wind.

"How come you don't call Hendrickson your dad?" Howey looks over at me.

"He doesn't feel like the same 'dad' I knew back then. Somethings off about him now, not to mention he lied to me." I start to mumble. "And broke his promise."

"What promise?"

"Ah! Hendrickson!" We both quickly sat up to see both Hendrickson and Helbram arms crossed staring at us.

"Come here, Y/n." Hendrickson jesters me to come over as he says this, I glance over at Howey before doing as I'm told, stumbling over to him. He looks at me strangely. "Are you two drunk?"

"Are you secretly Meliodas?" I glare at him; he shakes his head disappointedly.

"No, and what promise did I break?" I tilt my head before hugging him, burying my head into his chest. He sighs and starts patting my head and rubbing my back.

"You said you'd always love me and that I was your beautiful little girl." My words are muffled by his chest.

"And I do love you, always will. And you'll always be my little girl, no matter how big you get." I can hear Helbram's annoyed sigh. "What part of that did I break?"
