(I read 7ds:school and now I have several photos of Helbram, and most of them, he is smiling. Think about that, smiling, actual photos of him smiling and I'm so tempted to color them for future chapters. What do you guys think I should do?)
"Elizabeth, are you okay?" I ask. We're sitting down taking a break from walking, it's almost dark too so we're probably going to set up camp for the night.
"Huh? Oh, I'm alright." Elizabeth loosely answers.
"..." I tilt my head.
"Here, dinners done." Diane says.
"Thank you, Diane." King smiles painfully as he takes some food.
"You're welcome, Harlequin!" Diane returns the smile.
"Ugh, get a room." Helbram says, his voice is still horse but it's getting better. Diane reaches over and hands us plates.
"Thank you, Diane, it looks really good." I thank her, she smiles softly and nods.
"What do you mean 'get a room?' You're practically glued to Y/n's hip." King crosses his arms.
"Hm? Jealous?" Helbram smirks.
"You look like a lost puppy, Helbram, I don't think anyone's jealous." I add.
"Hmph." He crosses his arms as he looks away from me. "I'm sorry I missed you."
"Aw, that's so sweet." Diane smiles.
"Huh?" Helbram's face gets a light dust of pink across it.
"You two are so cute together." Diane adds.
"Indeed, I'm happy you two were able to work things out." Elizabeth gives a weak closed-eyed-smile.
"We can rest here for the night; however, somebody will have to stand guard." Matrona says.
"I woke up a few hours ago so, I'm still wide awake. I can do it." I smile.
"What?" Helbram looks at me with an annoyed expression.
"Very well, sounds good." Matrona says.
"Oh, Y/n I have a question." Diane asks.
"Hm? Go ahead."
"I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but I can't tell what you are, you seem like a human, but you also remind me of those demons." Diane says.
"Huh? Oh, I'm kind of like a hybrid. Both of my parents are Druids, but my father injected himself with demon blood before I was made and when they did 'that' it kind of transferred over in a way? I think?" I explain.
"Druid?" Matrona asks. "Did that also carry over?"
"Mhm, I know how to heal, if that's what you're asking." I answer, Matrona nods.
"So, both you and Elizabeth can heal?" Diane asks.
"Yep." I say before stuffing my face with food.
"..." Matrona takes a deep breath. "Do you think those demons actually could've fulfilled a wish?"
"Uh... Depends on the wish. But in all actuality. They were just collecting souls to help restore their teammates' powers. And a Fight Festival that grants the winner a wish, no matter how greedy it is, what human wouldn't be interested in it? It was a perfect plan, all thrown together by a fairy and a giant." I smile. "Mostly the fairy."
"..." Helbram's expression seems to fall.
"I see." Matrona sighs.
"Hey Y/n, what was King Gloxinia actually like?" King asks.
