Chapter 13

Around every five minutes Jack would turn around and look at me.

I was growing very impatient with the boy.

On the tenth time that he turned around I forcefully yanked my phone from my purse and sent him a text.

*What the hell do you want?*

Obviously his phone was not on silent and the obnoxious noise chimed loudly throughout the room.

He got a lot of stares and some people shushed him which I found amusing.

He looked at me quickly while fumbling with his phone. His head snapped down to the small machinery as soon as it was out of his pocket.

His fingers tapped away at the screen and I watched every single movement that he made.

My phone vibrated quietly and thankfully made no noise. The people around me continued to watch the film as I read the text.

*I can't believe you came here with him*

I rolled my eyes and then sighed at the words written on my phone.

He was such a hypocrite.

"I'm going to get another drink, do you want anything?" I whispered to Kellan and he shook his head before turning his attention back to the large screen.

I pulled myself out of the uncomfortable seat and grabbed my purse before walking quickly out of the room.

There was a short queue that I waited patiently in, but I was relieved when I finally made it to the front. I had a headache and I really needed something to drink.

"One water please." I gave the woman my order and swiftly pulled out my money. I paid the small amount and thanked her before moving to the side to let the next customer order.

I placed my bag on the floor and knelt down while I put my money back inside.

When I stood up again I huffed.

Jack was stood right in front of me.

"What?" I snapped while attempting to undo the lid of my chilled water bottle. Of course it wouldn't budge.

"May I?" He asked, referring to the drink that I couldn't open. I rolled my eyes before carelessly passing him the drink.

He opened the bottle in one swift motion and smirked before taking a sip of my water.

I moved my hand to grab the water but he just held it high.

I looked into his eyes and could easily see how amused he was.

I huffed before picking up my bag and walking past him. Jack being Jack followed me.

Once he was walking at my pace he put the water bottle in front of me. I grabbed the bottle and pulled it towards me but of course he didn't let go.

He stopped walking and I did too. I still clutched onto my drink tightly.

"Please may I have my water, Jack?" I asked, I didn't sound desperate though, I sounded pissed off.

"Nope." He smiled at me and I yanked my arms backward.

This time he let go of the bottle and the cold water drenched me.

My hair was quickly losing it's curls and I could feel the makeup on my face running.

I looked down to my clothes and they were sticking to my body, my white dress was now see through from the waist up.

I quickly fastened my jacket to cover up my top half before looking back up to Jack.

I imagined that he would be laughing and taking a photo to show his friends that he covered me with water in the middle of the cinema, but instead he looked worried and a bit guilty.

"For fucks sake, Jack." I looked back down to my clothes and then stormed into the bathroom.

It was empty which I was glad of.

I walked over to the mirror and looked at myself.

My hair was now frizzy and my mascara had run halfway down my face. My foundation was now patchy and my lipstick had been removed off of my now dry lips.

I pulled my knotted hair up into a high ponytail and grabbed some paper towels from the dispenser.

I dabbed at my makeup trying to remove it but it wouldn't budge.

I wiped ferociously on my skin but still my makeup stayed in place; stained against my skin.

I was now left with red patches and I ran the cold tap. I washed my face before going into a stall and sitting on the floor.

First, Jack ruins our relationship.
Second, Jack tries to hurt me by going out with my enemy.
And finally, Jack tries to ruin my relationship with Kellan.

What was wrong with this boy?

Tears pricked my eyes but I was able to hold them in. I heard the door open and I quickly composed myself before exiting the stall.

A fairly old women walked in, she looked to be in her late 50s, early 60s.

"Are you okay, dear?" She asked and that's when I lost it.

The tears fell and I began to sob; I couldn't hold it in anymore.

She hastily walked over to me and wrapped her arms around me. We were about the same hight.

She hugged me tightly and I felt comforted in her embrace. It's funny to think how relaxed you can feel in a stranger's arms.

I could never do this with my mom. She always worried too much about everything, and to be honest she had her own problems.

"I'm sorry you have to see me like this when you don't even know me." I tried to smile but it failed miserably.

"It's okay, everyone has those days when you just need to cry. It's not normally at the movies but it's okay, do you want to tell me what's wrong?" She spoke in a soothing voice and I slowly pulled out of the warm hug to get a better look at her.

She was really very beautiful, even if he was in her late 50s or early 60s.

"I don't want to trouble you with my problems, anyway, you don't even know who I am." I was confused because I didn't understand why she would want to help me, she didn't know me.

"Sometimes, the best people you can talk to are strangers because we don't know you." She smiled at me and I smiled back.

We stood in the bathroom talking for a few minutes and I poured my heart out to a woman who I didn't even know.

But it felt good to talk to someone about it.

And the best thing was that she didn't even judge me.

She understood me.

I feel like this chapter was kind of depressing, what do you guys think?

I'm sorry if there are any spelling/grammar mistakes but I had to write this on my phone again.

I'm also sorry that I haven't updated in ages but I will try to update more often.
