Lucio POV

What my Bunchoy want, my Bunchoy will get. As I know this might be the last time I could still do something for my daughter.

"Mahal? Ayusin ko na yung sa exhibition ni Bunchoy ha? Para ready na lahat bukas." I asked my wife who's tucking in our youngest child.

"Wait, mahal. Bukas na po agad? Like pano yun? Limang paintings lang naman nauwi nang bata mahal." nagugulohang sagot nang asawa ko.

"Gabi naman ang Art gallery niya may time pa-" I haven't finish what I'm about to say when she threw a pillow at me.

"Subukan mong mag react! Magising tong anak ko papalamonin ko sayo tong unan!" she madly said as she pulled me out of our room.

"Lucio, hindi ako natutuwa sa plinaplano mo ah! Ano? Mag hapon mong ipag papaint ang anak ko!" she exclaimed.

"Mahal, joke lang. Of course hindi, remember her paintings old paintings? Yung inuwi natin dito sa Pilipinas kasi kulang nalang maging mural artist ang anak natin?" I told her, which thankfully she calmed down. Parang dragon eh. She then gave me this questioning look waiting for my explanation.

"Pinadala ko dito mahal. Pero hindi niya alam." I said biting my lower lips.

"Lucio! Kaya pala hianahanap ni Bunchoy yung mga ibang paintings niya! Andito lang pala. Ikaw mag paliwanag sa anak mo niyan ha! Sinasabi ko sayo!" Galit na niyang sabi.

"Eh kasi naman mahal. Halos kulang nalamg pati mga walls natin sa bahay ipaint na nang anak mo. Yung kwarto niya wala nang space mahal eh." I explained again which she just hug me.

"I know you have a good intentions, mahal. Pero kasi hinahanap nang anak mo yung mga yun eh. Tell her about this huh? Baka magalit yun." she calmly said to me.

"Tabihan mo muna si Bunchochoy, mahal. Asikasohin ko muna yung para sa art gallery ni Bunchoy." sambit ko.

"Mahal, what if she'll hate me pag nalaman na niya ang totoo?" she suddenly asked and cries.

"How could she hates you when she adores you so much, Mahal? Dikit na dikit nga sayo yun eh parang tuko." I told her as I wiped her tears. I'm hoping na she won't hate us.

"Wag kanang mag alala mahal. Para din naman to para sakanya diba? Kaya natin to nagawa? Besides kahit anong mangyari parte pa din naman siya nang pamilyang to kung ano man ang mangyari." I said so she could stop crying na baka kasi magising ang mga bata makita ng umiiyak ang Nanay nila.

Sinamahan ko muna siya mag pahinga.

______

Nang makapag pahinga na ang asawa ko, I called my best friend, whom I think would be the best person who could help me when it comes to this matter.

"Hello, Greggy? Pare. Pasensya nasa abala pare, pero balak ko sana mag pa Art Gallery para sa Bunso ko...." I informed him which thank God he did agreed to help me. Pupunta din daw sila ni Irene, which is nice as I haven't seen my inaanak, Ella, in so long baka mag kasundo pa sila ni Bunchoy. As they're in the same age lang naman.

I finally got the venue and invited people to attend my daughter's exhibit, permission nalang talaga ni Bunchoy ang kailangan. Kasi baka maging Dragon din yun eh.

"Papa?" I heard my wife says.

"Mahal? Bat gising kapa? Anong oras na." I responded as I I'm writing important details for the event tomorrow.

"Mahal?" I asked again and I looked up. There I saw my daughter smiling at me.

Nagiging kaboses na nito si Tina eh.
