I told her what I saw. From Erica's expression to Xavier's actions after I saw him. Yonah is just staring at me blankly, as if she is in deep thought.

"Coincidence?" tanong ko pagkatapos ng ilang minutong katahimikan.

"I... think I heard a rumor about Xavier and Erica before."

Tumango-tango ako. I heard that rumor too. Xavier's relationships are mostly rumors turned truths after he is seen with them. In this case, Xavier dating Erica were just rumors before kasi wala namang nakakita sa kanilang magkasama in public.

"But rumors came from somewhere, right?"

"I don't know, Rai. I just want to tell you that Xavier liked you ever since. Simula pa noong mga bata pa tayo. I know you know it. You are like his childhood dream. I think he won't just throw away the chance that you gave him." she reasoned.

Honestly, I am having a hard time believing in Xavier. Yes, he said he likes me and for a long time now but I saw him play with other girls. If he really likes me, then he wouldn't do that right? If he really likes me, isn't his feelings enough to not get involved with other girls?

There is definitely something here. Kasi kung gusto mo nga ang isang tao, the you would pursue them, right? Kung totoo ngang matagal na pala akong gusto ni Xavier, edi sana dati niya pa ako p-in-ursue, hindi ba? But he didn't. He only did pursue me when he found out that I used to have a crush on him. Noong walang kasiguraduhan ay puro lamang siya paramdam.

In preparation for the upcoming university meet, we spent the next weeks practicing and training. A few days before our first official game, our coach decided that a game against the BVT would be great.

"Delos Reyes, isang goodluck kiss naman oh! Please?"

I was about to raise my middle finger to him but someone already pushed him. You know that prelude to suntukan kind of push?

"Yohan! What are you doing?!" I heard Yonah shout behind me. Sumugod kaagad siya sa kapatid niyang makikipag-away na yata sa lalaking nanghihingi ng good luck kiss.

Yonah managed to stop her brother from punching the guy. Tahimik silang nag-uusap sa gilid but they both look pissed.

"Yonah? What's wrong?" tanong ko pagkalapit ko sa kanila. Nagbago ang ekspresyon ng mukha niya nang bumaling sa akin

"Nothing, Raija! Tara na nga doon!"

Why is Yohan here anyway? Ang alam ko ay may training din ang basketball team ngayon sa open gym, according to Xavier. So I asked Yonah at ang naging sagot niya ay ikinagulat ko ng todo.
