The girl who seems like her life is perfect,
She's always smiling and laughing,
She's always joking and giggling,
But in reality,
She's stuck in an illusion. With a snap of the finger,
She's brought back out,
The dark clouds come,
The rain fall drips,
It all rolls down. She looks in the mirror,
"This isn't me!"
The mask washed off,
Her true colors show,
But she stays in denial,
for as long as she knows. Her world is gray,
Just black and white,
The colors wash out,
But she tries to hide. She's on the beach,
Enjoying the Sun,
But it's her illusion,
Just having some fun.In reality it's quick sand,
Under her feet,
It gobbles her slowly,
Until she can't breathe. Now her world goes black,
And she's sinking deeper,
She sinks and sinks,
'Til she reaches rock bottom. Why does this have to be my reality?
She wonders...Sylvia
