Time has gone by,
She thought she forgot,
The trauma she endured,
At the back of her thought. She figured all was well,
Let's move on at last,
But when she's laying in bed,
And the nights are quiet,
It always makes its way back.It slowly creeps and crawls,
It's inevitable at last,
Now the trauma she endured,
Has come back.No matter how hard she tries,
She wants to forget,
But in her heart,
There was no room for that. She rolls and tosses,
Reliving each bit.She's twenty now,
It's been 8 years.Get it out of my head,
She begs God,
"It's for you to learn and repent."Now she feels like it's all her fault,
But in reality it wasn't at all.How do you let go?
She wonders...Sylvia
