The time everything stopped and went again (a steddie story)

WAKE UP!! Help them!

Steve woke up in a cold sweat, that nightmare had been more real then the others. Eddie,the gates,and vecna. Then there was max. Steve looked up from his lap where he was playing with his hands,not sure what to do.As soon as he looked up he froze "Hi. Don't freak out." He was definitely going to freak out. "Who-how-your me." Steve said looking at himself now noticing he was covered in blood.

"Listen dude-you need.. you have to go back-save Eddie if you don't... Hawkins is fucked and all the kids die,Eddie goes all kas mode like-like a vampire!You NEED TO SAVE THEM. GO BACK!" The bloody version of himself says "W-what do you m-" he says not being able to finish as the other him holds up a hand and says " go. " And with that Steve is sent through a portal of sorts into a black void of water . exactly how he imagined the void that El always said she started useing her powers to find someone.

But ..he didn't have powers.. so why was he there? Almost as soon as he thought that he was shot through a weird worm hole or something because he was back in the boat house,being held against a wall by Eddie. But no no no. Eddie died he couldn't be alive. He couldn't. "E-Eddie?" He said,Eddie pushed him into the wall firmer " W-What Harrington? Why are you H-Here?" Eddie questioned Steve.

Steve looked back at him with tears in his eyes "I-You- what's going on?" A flash of confusion entered Eddie's eyes but it was gone just as quick "You-You came here to  turn me in r-right?huh? Hunt the freak?" Steves eyes welled up with tears and he hugged Eddie,his cheek getting cut by the bottle in the process but he didn't care.. Steve all but sobbed into Eddies shirt,the curly haired boy awkwardly paying his back.

"Geez. Wow,you okay Harrington? Everything alright at home king steve-i m-mean I know I'm pretty but I don't think you'd cry over I-" Eddie suddenly stopped talking as Steve pulled away from his shirt eyes rimmed red "S-Sorry" Steve said, backing away from Eddie and looking at his other friends Dustin giving Steve a look like he'd just done something impossible that he didnt understand, meanwhile robin and Max both looked incredulous . Like they'd seen a ghost.
"Sorry again- Eddie were not-were not gonna turn you in,we're here to help... tell us what happened"

Eddie stared at Steve "you-you won't believe me .."  Eddie said he sat down on a crate next to the boat as Dustin got closer "Try us." He said.
Eddie then took the next fourteen minutes to explain what he saw "it wasn't -I didn't kill her dude she -she-" Eddie explained between stammers ,Dustin was quick to reply " we believe you Eddie. Don't worry." Eddie looked up at Dustin "D-Dont bullshit me man!I know how this sounds!" He yelled.

"Eddie you know how people say that Hawkins is cursed?" Eddie nodded "well their not that far off... There's this world.. and sometimes it bleeds into Hawkins " Eddie stared " so what like-like ghosts and shit?" He said. Steve stared at them all,feeling out of place. Max spoke up along with Dustin(I cant remember who said it) "some things.. are worst then ghosts"....
