Y/N woke to Hermione shaking her gently.

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty!" Hermione grinned.

Y/N groaned and rolled onto her stomach, burying her face in an attempt to block out the morning sun shining through the curtains.

"Come onnn!" Hermione grunted as she tried to drag Y/N out of bed, failing miserably.

"Just ten more minutes..." Y/N's voice trailed off as she closed her eyes...
"AHHHHHHH!" She screamed, sitting up, gasping for air. She was sopping wet. Hermione stood over her with a jug of water, trying to suppress her laugh.

"I told you to get up." She said, shrugging.

"What the fuck Hermione?!" Y/N yelled. "There are better ways to wake me up!"

"Sorry." She tossed some clothes to Y/N, grinning a little. "Here. I unpacked your bags for you."

"Thanks."

"You're welcome." Hermione said. They stood there in silence, just staring at one another. The sight of Hermione's face contorting in her attempt of not laughing was so funny that Y/N smiled against her will, and then the two girls burst out laughing.

"Ok, ok, turn around real quick." Y/N said, still laughing. Hermione obliged.

Y/N put on her clothes and quickly fixed her hair before heading down with Hermione to the Great Hall for breakfast.

"Hey." Y/N said as she sat to eat with her three best friends.

"Hey." Harry replied, yawning and passing her some toast. His hair was messy as usual and he looked like he had just rolled out of bed.

"Starting off your first day of school refreshed and rested, I see." Y/N grinned.

"Leave me alooonee." Harry whined, resting his head on the table.

"We stayed up late last night," Ron explained tiredly. "We were eating Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. It was hilarious!"

Y/N smiled. "I bet it was."

"We stayed up late too. Y/N was so tired I had to wake her up by dumping water on her." Hermione told them, opening a Transfiguration book. Harry and Ron roared in laughter.

"That's why your hair is so wet! I thought you had taken a shower!" Harry wheezed. At this Ron let out another burst of laughter.

"Okay, it's not that funny." Y/N pursed her lips. Hermione was grinning from behind her book.

"What are our classes today?" Y/N asked, attempting to change the subject.

"Let's see...Ooh, we've got some new classes today! Divination's first."

They set off for the North Tower, which was all the way on the other side of the castle, for Divination. They had been walking for about 15 minutes, lost already, and arguing about which way to go, when suddenly they heard a voice.

"Back! Back, you scoundrels! Back I say!" Y/N turned her head in confusion, looking for where the voice had come from, when she set her eyes on a painting of a little knight with a sword twice his size. He swung the sword viciously, only to lose balance from the weight and size of the sword and fall flat on his face, panting. Y/N stared at the knight, bewildered.

"Um... would you happen to know how to get to the North Tower?" Harry asked him tentatively.

The knight up his head and his eyes lit with excitement. "A quest?!" He exclaimed. "I shall lead you boldly and guide you through the dangers of this castle to this North Tower, or die doing so!" He jumped to his feet and began to run through the paintings. Y/N, Harry, Hermione, and Ron sprinted after him. The knight was surprisingly fast for his size.
