Before the call

The twins had arrived home, it was a large two house that sat in between America and Canada. They had to beg to get this, well Alfred had to while Mathew's boss was happy to let the twins live with each other. They had lots of land and while it was mostly cold it could get a bit warm and that's when they liked to go out and enjoy sun bathing, mainly Alfred who had asked to have a sun room off to the side of the house though his boss said no Mathew's said that they could have whatever they wanted as it was their house, just as long as their work was done. 

Mathew and Alfred walked in their house and Alfred immediately when into the kitchen to the coffee maker, Mathew sighed with a fond smile before joining him in getting a cup. They were drinking their coffee talking to one another calmly before hearing Kumajirou walk over "hello Alfred, strange man with Alfred" kumajirou said in his own way of joking (canonily both forget each other a lot but not here!) making Mathew roll his eyes "hello weird talking bear" he said back pretending to forget his name, while Alfred just stared before going back to his coffee.

Mathew picked the bear up and then put it in the chair "why does Alfred's eyes look red?" The bear asked and the twins look at each other before Alfred nodded "we got into an argument with arthur and Francis and Alfred started crying because of what arthur said" Mathew explained. They usually would wait till Alfred's eyes stopped being red and puffy to return but Alfred really wanted to get back home and Mathew wasn't going to argue with that, kumajirou hummed but kept silent "don't worry, I'm fine" Alfred said and once again kumajiro was quite. It was starting to get a bit uncomfortable till Alfred cleared his throat "you know it's been a while sense we cooked together" he said and Mathew smiled "well what do want to cook?" He asked and Alfred smiled a knowing smile. 

The two laughed as they told jokes and cleaned flower off the counter, table, and floor. They had gotten into a flower fight after Mathew put all the dry ingredients in a bowl and then turned on the mixer making it get everywhere for a few seconds before he turned it back off, but in that time Alfred's face was now covered in white power and he grabbed some flower and threw it at Mathew. They stoppped their cleaning for a bit when the soft pop music stopped replaced by a ring tone, Mathew walked over to the computer and answered after Alfred had said that 'math-tactic' was Matthias "oh!Hey Matthias, what do you need?" He asked through looked over when he heard a bowl fall before Alfred joined him at the table in the chair next to him "hey math!" He said knowing how it got on Matthias nerves "how many times do I have to say not to call me that!" He said and the twins laughed.

After the call was over the twins went back to cleaning but this time they cleaned everything wanting their house to be presentable, there are many things that set the twins apart and that was mainly their personality as Mathew was and acted older while Alfred was and acted younger  -though that was also because of how they were raised- but their actions connected them the most with both being clean freaks and both loving a good book. Those are just a few though.

After a few hours the house was clean enough to their liking and Alfred's phone buzzed making him pull it out with Mathew over his shoulder reading.

Math-tactic: hey, we just landed

Kanin elsker: okay we'll be there in a bit!

Math-tactic: okay see you soon?

Kanin elsker: yep! ^J^

Math-tactic: why that face?? It reminds me of Ivan

Kanin elsker: ik, he showed it to me! I find it cool!

Math-tactic: okay??

Mathew sighed and smiled before dragging his brother to their much larger car, it was a mini van as they often used it to go long distance and have a place to sleep because you could put the seats down and act like there a bed. They got in and made their way to the airport to pick up the family of five. Once there they looked around trying to find them which on their part wasn't that hard as both were tall and Sweden and Denmark were both 5'11" which is something you don't see every day "look their over there" Mathew said pointing to the small group. 

The twins walked over "hey dude's!" Alfred said putting on the same fake, exaggerated smile as always "hello Alfred, Mathew. Thank you letting us stay" Tino said with a small smile while Matthias practically picked Alfred up when he hugged him "Alfred! I've been waiting for another visit!" He said as Alfred hugged back a bit uncomfortable in the tight hold "y-yeah dude!" He said before the taller let go, Mathew sighed and picked up some bags "let's get going, we still need to show you guys around and get you settled" he said and Alfred agreed taking some bags and leading the family to the car. Lukas looked at Matthias to see his face dim and worried "what's wrong?" He asked just loud enough to be heard by the family but not the twins "Alfred's a lot lighter than I remember" he said softly and kinda like he was thinking about it while also talking about it, Berwald hummed "could it be he just lost a bit of weight? How long has it been since you seen him?" He asked and Matthias shrugged "like a few weeks but what I mean is that just a few weeks ago I could feel a bit of plush and fat, but I couldn't feel it this time" he said and Emil sighed "maybe he's fasting, I mean have you seen how many times he's been picked on for his weight?" He asked and the family went quiet.

Matthias always found the way Alfred was to be perfect, or at least the thing's he knew about Alfred. Even though at meetings he's loud and playful he can be serious and caring, Matthias remember when during a break he was crying and Alfred had found him, originally Matthias snapped at him not wanting to hear his loud voice but instead it was soft and gentle and Alfred listened to Matthias worry and helped him through it. That was when Matthias -he didn't really notice it though and still doesn't- seen Alfred let his mask down, seen a side of the man that no one else had. 

The taller really worried for the blond, young man but knew that they'll find out more during their stay.
