Lost children of Vinland

Taking a look (part one)

The car ride was smooth with little talking and more listening to the music and looking out the windows, Mathew was driving while Alfred seemed to be working on something on a laptop he's brought with him "hey what are you doing?" Emil asked in a monotone sounding voice looking at the laptop screen from over the seat, Alfred hummed and looked at him with a small smile "oh, just some work. We were busy earlier so we didn't get any of it done" he explained and Emil nodded before things went back to a peaceful, comfortable silence.

Once they got to the house the twins helped the family with their bags and got them unpacked "this place is amazing" Tino said looking at the large house, Mathew nodded "thank you, I know it's big but we always like being perpetrated for things" he explained and Tino nodded. They all sat in the living-room talking and laughing telling stories to each other "this one time I tried to do a back flip and landed on my back, it hurt for like a week" Alfred said laughing as Mathew tried to catch his breath but failed at the memory "dude whined the whole time" Matthias said laughing with the twins, the night seemed to go by and they all talked and hung out before they ate dinner then watched a movie. Finland had offered to cook so the twins didn't get to show off their cooking skills but they didn't mind just happy that they had people over.

When night came they all went to their rooms the nordics not failing to notice that the twins shared a room, they didn't care much and found it adorable but kept that to themselves.

The next morning the nordics woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon from the kitchen which they went down to try the heavenly smell "good morning" Alfred said placing down plates that had pancakes and bacon on them, his blond hair was messy and he wore a pink bear hoodie with a pair of lite blue shorts "good morning" Lukas said followed by the others and he sat down "you can get as much as you guys want" Alfred said before grabbing a cat food bowl and placed it down before filling it with food "you have a cat?" Emil asked and Mathew nodded, though no one was really paying attention to him "yeah, hero. He's a good cat and a fat one" he said he gesturing to the arch where that cat had just walked in "aww det er bedårende" Lukas said as Alfred chuckled "he is, isn't he?" He said and it was quite before Finland gasped "Miten? Miten sinä tietää mitä hän sanoi?" Tino asked voicing everyone's -but Mathew's- question. Alfred blushed in embarrassment "oh yeah, I'm, we're, the mixing pot remember?" He said shrugging taking a bite out of a pice of bacon "I have so many questions" Berwald said holding his face in his hands "maybe after breakfast, I'd like to eat first and a full stomach makes a clear mind" Mathew said pouring syrup over his pancakes he'd gotten while the family was in shock.

They sat at the table talking "so you understand what everyone saying?" Emil asked and the twins nodded "we understand everything but most people think I'm to dumb and people never pay attention to Mattie" Alfred explained and Mathew hummed in agreement "so you hear all those things.." Matthias started but stopped, all the Nordic's knew the other's talked about Alfred in their native language and even though the Nordic's didn't understand sometimes they knew by the side eye they would give Alfred "yes I do, I don't mind it though" he said though it was clearly a lie "I hear it to and I very much mind," Mathew said crossing his arms "they don't even know you and their being judgmental to you!" He was pissed but then again mathew always had some sort of short temper "i agree with your brother, that's one reason we're here. We want to get to know you better" emil said and the other hummed in agreement.

Alfred and Mathew went outside to do something, the other's didn't want to medial into their business. But then again they did want to medial, just a bit. The nordics wondered around the house, not to the point of where it would be obvious that they were snooping but where it looked like they were getting to understand the house layout a bit more. Tino and Berwald (Finland and Sweden) took the down stairs, Matthias and Emil (Denmark and Iceland) took the second floor, and Lukas (Norway) who had ended up alone was tasked to actually be and look snoopy as he explored the basement. 

Tino took more time to look at the pictures on the wall and on the fire place, they were small -some a medium size- not bringing much attention at first but then you see how old they actually are, like one that seemed to be taken durning WW1 with Alfred next to a man that was taller than him and resembled his boss at the time, Tino looked at that picture seeing how Alfred looked so young and still is young. While Tino was looking at pictures, Berwald was looking through the cabinets in the kitchen, he seen spices and cup's that looked like a normal kitchen till he reached one cabinet. The cabinet had all types of medicine, labeled all types of things that Sweden couldn't understand "Tino! Come here!" He called getting Finland to snap out of his of his sad thoughts "yeah?" He asked walking in the kitchen but stopped once he seen the cabinet "voi luoja" he muttered and Berwald nodded "we should ask about it later, make it look like an accent" barwald said and tino nodded. 

Matthias was walking around looking into rooms and so far he's found two bathrooms -one of them being in a guest room- and three bedrooms, he was only on the left side of the house. The walls in the hallway -like much of the house- was a frost color and had pictures on some areas of the walls, Matthias didn't bother much with looking at the pictures but did occasionally glanced at them seeing that it was mainly mathew and Alfred in sunny and snowy weather with smiles looking happy and always having hero with them too. Matthias opened the last door of the hall to see that it was the twins room, a bed sat with the headboard against a wall with windows on either side and large curtains then two doors -one was double doors while the other was a single - that lead to a bathroom and then a large walk in closet.

Matthias looked in the closet -which was the double doors- to see one side had pants and shorts with all types T-shirts but it was clearly mathews because the side was white and had little maple leaf designs marking each areas where everything thing was meant to be. The side had lots of winter clothes and few summer and was filled with an arrange of tan, light blue's, blacks, red's, and white's with a bit of other colors here and and there. 

The other side was nearly the same in organization but instead of maple leafs it was a bunny head 'weird, thought he's have his flag as the label' Matthias thought but he brushed it off. Alfred's side was a lot more colorful than his twins and had a lot of different outfits like the attention of female clothing, Matthias wasn't going to judge Alfred for it though because it wasn't his place to judge him. 

At the end was three smaller section each with different labels, the label's seemed to have been marking who's section was who's instead of marking were things went. One was a cat, one was a bear, and one was an alien; Matthias looked at it seeing that the bear was mainly toys of objects and didn't really have clothes while the cat was a bunch of little outfits or hoodies then the alien looked like it was for a child, with kids shoes and clothes. Matthias wondered why they would have the small section for a child but thought that maybe he could ask later if they ever asked him to get something from their room.
