I got up at a horrendously early hour because I had made a plan on how to apologize to Lucy, I was going to make breakfast. Now this wouldn't be an everyday breakfast, oh no, this would be the best breakfast in the existence of breakfasts.
*Time Skip provided by my dread of having to do my Spanish homework*
I've burnt the breakfast.
Well, I'll just make tea and biscuits. Thats the moment I found two letters, one addressing George and one addressing Holly in Lucy's handwriting. Why didn't I get one? Still being early in the morning, no one else is up, so I decided to open the letter addressed to George. Yes, I am aware how nosy I seem, but they are both my employees after all, so I have to know all company business. I carefully open it, mindful of how much I might damage the envelope, and read it.
Dear George,
I am so terribly sorry that I left. You are nosy so you probably heard Lockwood and I's argument yesterday, this is not fully about that, just to let you know. I feel like me being here is just going to put you all in more unnecessary danger, not to mention the fact that it may seem petty, but that argument did shake me up a little. You don't know the full story of my past, more than I have ever even let on to. Maybe one day in the future when we are both talentless, we can meet for coffee and talk about it. Please do not worry about me, I have things arranged and I will be perfectly fine.
