^SO SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN ACTIVE ITS ACTUALLY CRAZY RIGHT NOW BUT I LOVE YOU ALL^

*Three years ago, Nate's POV*

Howdy, My name's Nate Wright, and I'm filthy rich. You may ask how a pair of seventeen year old twins who grew up in a background with no money get this high class, well, it's quite simple, when grandpappy inevitably kicks the bucket, I see him immediately after, and burn the thing keeping him tied to this earth sending him straight to hell or whatever. So thanks to all your grandparents guys, seriously.

It all started with a two teenagers, Mandy McIntyre and Alfie Wright. Mandy and Alfie were assigned to eachother as foreign penpals in middle school, Alfie lived in London and Mandy in Texas. Their conversations were always deep and meaningful, they had so much in common that the second they got a letter those lovesick puppies would giggle and kick their feet.
This continued for some years till they were both seniors, Alfie flew to Texas, and they had a one night stand.

Fast forward a few weeks later, Mandy is pregnant and decides not to tell Alfie, until one day she moves to London with her two very confused 15 year old twins and no money.

Why don't I believe in love? Because those are my parents, and my dad left us on his porch. Eventually my mom got a shitty job selling lavender wards and my sister, Nadine and I, had to find work in any way possible, as our apartment had literal rats.
We could hardly find work, we had no idea about the culture and we had very, very, thick southern accents that made us a target. Until the day we turned 16 we saw a ghost, and figured out that those glowing people aren't just delusions and they are actually real.

Long story short, we're now the most talented ghost hunters in England, because we have a talent for detecting what type of ghost it is on our mind the second we see it.

"NATE C'MERE" Nadia shouted, holding a book in the air.
"Alright I'm coming good grief Nads" I said halfheartedly.
"I found something..." Nadia went on to talk about portals between both worlds.

This is mighty hard for me to talk about, but that night we found one, and it was too much for Nadia, we made it out but she's... Changed.

*Three years later, present day*

"Nads, I'm home!" I said as I walked through the door.
"Nnaate" She said softly.
"Yes Nadia?" I said in the soft voice only reserved for my twin sister.
See, after we got out of that portal, it changed Nadia because we were in there too long. Her legs don't work, her skin looks as if it was blue, and she can hardly talk.
"Hhoww wwass yyourr day?" She managed to get out.
"Was pretty weird, at work this kid came in and bought a ton of shit like he was about to take out the whole ghost population." I responded.
"Rreally? Yyouu betterr helpp hhiimm Nattte" She said in her no nonsense voice.
"Nadia... You know my talents fading and I don't like making connections with clients." I said trying to reason with her.
"Ppleasee Nate, ttheyy calll you ruthlesss noww ddontt they? Hhelp tthesee kids. I have a feeling you need to help them." She said firmly, not struggling at all with the last sentence.
"Fine... I'll help them I guess." I said with a squeeze of her hand as I walked out the door.

I have no idea what I'm doing, I got hammered before I came here and now there's a damn type three in the house. This is why I hate kids.
